The musical reality series, in its third season, has been having problems with its contestants violating its no-sex regulation and series executives have decided to assign repercussions to such actions including expulsion from the series competition, The Sun reported.
"Bosses are furious about stories of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll behind the scenes on a show for a family audience," said a source close to the show, which offers behind-the-scenes footage of the contestants on two spin-off series.
"The law has been laid down. Anyone stupid enough to ignore the warning will be given their marching orders," the source told The Sun.
The Sun said that the executives also banned the use of alcohol and singing after 9 p.m. by the contestants and chastised series judges Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne for their on-screen bickering.
