The Reverend Run, aka Joey Simmons, gave the world a peak at his crib this week -- then put the $5.3 million mansion in Saddle River, N.J., up for sale.

The mansion is the backdrop for Run's new MTV reality series, "Run's House" -- about the life of the hip-hop legend, his wife and their five children.
The house sits on 2 acres and offers, among other things, a home theater, indoor basketball court, sound studio and recording booth and a dining room with gold leaf crown molding, AllHipHop.com reported.
The Simmons family reportedly needs more space to accommodate guests from the Rev.'s Zoe Ministries, his non-denominational church in New York.
Rev. Run achieved fame as one-third of the hip-hop pioneers, Run-DMC, and is the brother of music producer Russell Simmons.
