Rob Kardashian apparently cares much more about his sock line than he does about being a reality star.

"A lot of people say your family doesn't do anything," Wall Street Journal's Lee Hawkins asked Kardashian in a recent interview. "I'm going to give you an opportunity to explain: What do you do and what is your job?"
"Literally, my job is, I make socks. That's all I do," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star replied. "I don't necessarily care about the show. I would rather film this -- me doing what I do -- than being around my family."
Despite wanting attention to be on his sock line, which is called Arthur George, Kardashian admitted he loves crossing his professional life with family bonding.
"But thank God, I have that opportunity to be with my family and work with my family. Not everybody even gets to live with their own family because they have to go to LA or New York or wherever to work and find a job and leave their family back home," he added.

"But everyday I get to work with my family -- if I want to. And I'm all about family, that's how I was raised. We've all got each other's backs. And thank God, I have the opportunity to do what I love, which is my family and work on a business and try and make it the best that it could be."
Kardashian, who also previously competed on the thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars, acknowledged his family's show served as an incredible platform for his business. However, while his sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are also in the fashion industry, he's paving his own way and separating himself from their success.
"I don't know what their goals are at the end of the day. Obviously, they love fashion and they've always been involved in that world," Kardashian explained.
"My sister Kourtney started a children's boutique to follow after my grandma's lead... I love fashion too. I've been surrounded by women my whole life, so obviously I'm going to love fashion. But you gotta branch off someday, and I like to do my own thing and focus on what I love. If people accept it, they accept it. If they don't, they don't."
Kardashian said building and maintaining his sock line is a daily process and he finds inspiration in the ordinary, such as trees outside and wallpaper.

"The design process never stops. That's the best part," Kardashian said. "Once you iron out all the packaging and the lengths and the material -- which we're still [doing] to this day, ironing out things. We've only been a company for 10 months, and this is my first time doing this industry."
Kardashian graduated from USC's business school Marshall in 2009. He said he started a skincare company when he got out of school with a partner, but while it was a good learning experience, it just "wasn't the right fit" for him. Instead, he's apparently "very passionate" about clothing and socks.
