Rocco DiSpirito's samba couldn't keep him out of hot water.

"I have nothing but grateful feelings to the entire cast and crew. This was a once in a lifetime experience," DiSpirito said following his elimination. "Karina, I know teaching me to dance must be like pushing a stone up a hill, but thank you. I owe you for the gift of dance. I really appreciate it."
Due to last week's non-elimination, DiSpirito and Smirnoff were eliminated from the competition based on a combination of the judges' scores and home viewer votes from Dancing with the Stars' last two performance shows. If there had been an elimination last week, DiSpirito and Smirnoff would have been the couple eliminated.
While this week's individual combined rankings were not revealed, DiSpirito and Smirnoff had dug themselves a big hole with their scores from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Len Goodman, who had given the pair a next-to-last 20 score for their jive last week and a last-place 18 score for their samba on Monday.
"Rocco I like you very much, but all of the rattles in the world cannot disguise the fact that you haven't got a musical bone in your body!" Tonioli had exclaimed following DiSpirito and Smirnoff's performance on Monday. "My accountant does a better samba!"
"It's so difficult to critique you because it's so enjoyable to watch you genuinely have a great time, and that's really fun and we all feel that. However this is Week 4, and it's about getting into the dancing," added Inaba. "The dancing is still lacking."
"You were very good because you did what your mum told you, you came out and had fun, well done," said Goodman.
Brooke Burke and professional partner Derek Hough had led Monday night's judges' leaderboard for the fifth consecutive performance round. The pair had received a score of 26, which gave them a combined two-week score of 52.
Singer Lance Bass and professional partner Lacey Schwimmer had tied Burke and Hough for this week's top score of 26 and finished second with a combined two-week score of 48.
Former NFL star Warren Sapp and partner Kym Johnson had received a score of 22 on Monday, which gave them a third-ranked two-week total of 47.
All My Children actress Susan Lucci and partner Tony Dovolani had received a score of 24 on Monday, giving the couple a two-week total of 45 that ranked fourth.
They were followed by two-time Olympic gold medalist track star Maurice Greene and partner Cheryl Burke, singer Toni Braxton and partner Alec Mazo, and Hannah Montana actor Cody Linley and partner Julianne Hough who had all finished tied for fifth place with two-week combined scores of 44. Greene and Burke had received a score of 20 from the judges on Monday, while Braxton and Mazo and Linley and Hough had received 22 and 23 scores respectively.

Former The Mary Tyler Moore Show star Cloris Leachman and partner Corky Ballas had received a score of 22 on Monday, which had left them tied with DiSpirito and Smirnoff for the lowest two-week total of 38.
Dancing with the Stars' next seventh-season performance episode will air Monday, October 20 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
