VH1 has announced that Rock of Love Bus with Brett Michaels, the upcoming third edition of the network's Rock of Love reality dating series, has temporarily suspended production following a Friday highway crash in which a production crew member allegedly killed two college students and seriously injured two other people.

After initially striking and seriously injuring two Florida residents in a pickup truck, Hernandez's vehicle reportedly continued on and struck a SUV containing Southern Illinois University sophomores Kevetta Davis and Yasmin Jackson, who were were both killed in the collision. Both Davis and Jackson were 19-years-old.
Hernandez was cited for driving with a suspended charged with a suspended license and several other traffic offenses, according to Illinois state police.
Unlike the show's first two seasons, Rock of Love's third season is being filmed while Michaels, the former lead singer of Poison, is out on tour, with the show's female suitors and crew following him from location from location.
Hernendez was hauling sound equipment and en route to Texas at the time of the incident, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
According the network's VH1 Blog, Michaels had already left Illinois earlier on the day of the accident and requested the temporary suspension so he could attempt to reach out to both victim's families.
"As a father of two, I cannot even imagine what the families must be going through at this time. I will make every attempt to reach out to them to let them know that my heart and prayers are with them during their time of grief," Michaels said in a statement posted on the blog.
However neither Michaels or anyone at VH1 had contacted Davis' family so far, according to The Tribune.
In addition, the VH1 posting -- which didn't mention Hernendez's identity or alleged responsibility for the crash -- also went out of it's way to stress Hernandez is "a crew member from the [show's] 51 Minds Entertainment production [company]... [and] not an associate of Bret Michaels or part of his tour staff."
