Ryan Seacrest got a kiss at midnight when he rang in the new year -- but his first kiss of 2014 wasn't with a girl he's dating.

Seacrest hosted ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve special Tuesday night for which Cyrus performed, but their big kiss apparently wasn't featured in the broadcast.
"They missed our New Years kiss," Cyrus tweeted early Wednesday.
"Oops :/," Seacrest tweeted in reply.
However, the moment was captured in a photo that Cyrus later shared with her 16 million-plus Twitter followers.
"Yay!!!! They caught our NY midnight kiss! Happy New Years @RyanSeacrest & thank you for having me," Cyrus captioned the picture last night.
Cyrus sang her latest single "Adore You" in Times Square just before the ball dropped and followed it with "Wrecking Ball."
Seacrest is reportedly currently dating Shayna Terese Taylor, a 38-year-old blonde model, personal trainer and New Mexico native who is now living in the Los Angeles area. In Touch Weekly reported in June 2013 that Seacrest was dating Sports Illustrated model Dominique Piek.
Reports Seacrest and ex-girlfriend Julianne Hough called it quits after nearly three years of dating first surfaced in March 2013, when the pair had decided to "take a break" and end their living-together arrangement.
Heavy work schedules made it difficult for Seacrest and the 25-year-old former Dancing with the Stars professional dancer to maintain their relationship, according to People sources, but they had intended to remain friends.
Cyrus was previously engaged to The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth but the pair split late last year. She has recently been linked to the Twilight saga star Kellan Lutz.
