Jenn made it clear from the start that she felt chemistry with Sam and was very attracted to him, but Sam began battling it out with another one of Jenn's frontrunners, Devin Strader.

Sam and Devin have been standing in each other's way week after week, potentially harming the men's relationship with Jenn.

Jenn hit some bumps in the road with Sam, but she admitted in a confessional after their one-on-one date in Auckland, New Zealand, "I am falling for Sam. He's someone I can see my future with."

Sam, in turn, is crazy about The Bachelorette star and doesn't want to see her end up with Devin.

"I don't think [Devin's personality is] something Jenn is looking for, but I don't really care. Lions don't concern themselves with the opinions of sheep," Sam told The Bachelorette cameras.

Sam told Jenn that he cared for her deeply and wanted to be the last guy standing in the process.

"You've said you see your husband in this room. I'm going to speak for me and I'm going to speak for everyone else as well: we see our wife," Sam told Jenn.

Will Sam turn out to be the guy of Jenn's dreams, or will his beef with other suitors get in his way of prioritizing and focusing on "the main thing?"

Until The Bachelorette viewers find out what happens next for Jenn and Sam, let's learn some information about this controversial bachelor right now.

Below is a list of eight facts Reality TV World has compiled about The Bachelorette bachelor Sam McKinney.

Sam McKinney was home-schooled growing up

Sam never attended an elementary school because his own parents taught him and gave him an education.

Sam ultimately played baseball and football for Myrtle Beach's Socastee High School, according to South Carolina's The Post and Courier.

In addition to playing sports, the bachelor also loves riding motorcycles, golfing, and watching Sons of Anarchy.

Prior to appearing on The Bachelorette, Sam had been engaged.

Sam was madly in love with his ex-fiancee, but he shared, "The second we got engaged, it instantly started to deteriorate and I knew something was wrong."

Sam explained of his past relationship, "I pried and I pried and I pried, and she told me that there was another guy. The moment I realized... I wasn't being chosen, it was such a gut punch."

The bachelor said his dream of having a wife and being in a happy marriage "all got pulled out" from beneath his feet.

Cheating is therefore Sam McKinney's No. 1 dealbreaker in relationships

Sam is a Christian man with southern charm.

The bachelor wrote in his Instagram bio, "He who is filled with love is filled with God himself."

Sam says he's extremely loyal when it comes to dating, according to ABC. Sam is therefore looking for a partner who will be as loyal as he is.

Sam McKinney nearly lost his life in a road accident

Sam revealed he was once in a motorcycle accident that "should have killed" him.

Somehow, he walked away from the accident without a scratch.

"So any opportunity that I get, I'm taking it head on," Sam said.

Sam McKinney went on The Bachelorette to find his "forever" love

Sam's dream is to find a woman with whom he can raise a family. He claims that family means "everything" to him.

Sam considers himself a relationship guy, and he said his "ultimate dream" is to be a loving husband and father.

"There is no road I would not travel and no bridge I would not cross for the people I love," Sam insists.

ABC says The Bachelorette bachelor brightens every room

ABC teases that Sam has "a dazzling smile" but also looks tough with all of his tattoos and muscles.

While Sam has a hard exterior and has competed in Tough Mudder competitions, he's apparently a total softie.

Sam is a self-declared "cheeseball," and he adores his four-year-old dog Breaker.

Sam McKinney's guilty pleasure is watching a romantic comedy

Sam actually quoted the movie The Choice when talking to Jenn on The Bachelorette.

The Choice is a romantic drama based on the Nicholas Sparks novel with the same name.

In The Choice, the leading man Travis -- who is played by actor Benjamin Walker -- teases his love interest, Gabby -- who is played by Teresa Palmer -- by telling her, "You bother me."

Gabby, an outspoken and strong-willed woman, challenges Travis and they passionately yet playfully argue in the film. When Travis proposes marriage to Gabby, he requests, "Bother me for the rest of my life."

Sam used a similar line on Jenn on The Bachelorette's 21st season.

Sam #relationship goals are Eric and Jessie Decker, according to BachelorNation.com.

Sam McKinney's family is furious about his The Bachelorette edit

In response to backlash and criticism from The Bachelorette viewers that Sam is a "bully" and "really bad person," Sam recently posted two emojis, a mirror and smoke, via Instagram to indicate that things may not be what they seem.

And Sam's family has also been blowing up social media with fiery messages directed at The Bachelorette producers for allegedly creating a false narrative about Sam and intentionally giving him a bad edit.

Sam's mother, Susan McKinney, argued, "There is nothing real about 'reality' tv. To destroy someone's character and manipulate the truth through editing is wrong on so many levels... There are several spoilers out there for who [Jenn] chooses in the end."

"Sam is a good guy regardless of how he is betrayed," she continued, "and I will no longer sit idly by and not speak up. Hey The Bachelorette it's called free speech. At least mine is honest, which is more than they can say."

And Sam's father, Jeff McKinney, revealed that Sam has been "a complete wreck" over how he's been portrayed on The Bachelorette's 21st season.

"Sam has (mostly) been the favorite with the first impression rose, etc. The spoiler was revealed and (in my opinion) the network had to paint Sam as this horrendous guy in order for Jenn not to look like a complete idiot," Jeff explained.

"Now I know why the network offers free counseling for 1 year after the show."

Jeff claimed Sam's words and phrases were cut and pasted to create a narrative The Bachelorette wanted to run with.

"Can't change what he said and how he said it, but they can change the scene, script and context and totally change the delivery. That's how I feel. #StandWithSamM," Jeff concluded.
