Savannah Chrisley has given fans an update on her recovery from a serious car accident.
"You know there have been days where I felt better but I'm here and that's all that matters," the "Chrisley Knows Best" star said in a new interview with E! News.
"This whole experience has been very scary for me," she continued. "It's put a lot of things into perspective and it's made me realize things I need more focus on."
Savannah wrecked her car Monday after the floor mat got stuck behind the pedals. While looking down to fix it, she swerved into a guard rail, fracturing her vertebrae.
The car's airbags and her seat belt prevented the injuries from being much worse, she said.
Her father, Todd Chrisley, who participated in the interview with Savannah, says he joked after the accident, "Look out for the girl wearing the helmet and riding a tricycle down the highways going forward."
On Instagram, Savannah also shared pictures of the flowers she has received from friends, writing, "I truly have some of the best friends in the world...your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Made myself get out of bed and these were waiting."
