Sean Lowe reportedly didn't wait to have sex with fiancee Catherine Giudici after they got engaged, and The Bachelor star's "born-again virgin" concept was just something he had made up for the media.

"Yes, they definitely had sex," a Bachelor insider added. "The first time was the night he proposed in Thailand."
Lowe selected and proposed to Giudici over bachelorette Lindsay Yenter during The Bachelor's seventeenth-season finale, which filmed on November 17 and aired on ABC in early March.
"Catherine has always respected Sean wanting to show his Christian side, but she honestly would never marry him without making sure they had sexual chemistry," the show insider explained. "It's all for the show and his parents."
Lowe, a current Dancing with the Stars participant, told People in March he had made a "personal choice" to abstain from sex since college and planned to continue the trend until he officially weds Giudici this summer. Later that month, Lowe revealed he and his fiancee aren't even living together.
"We're taking the old-fashion approach," Lowe said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the time, adding however, that he had "never used the term [born-again virgin]" when describing himself.
Despite Lowe's claims, The Bachelor insider told Life & Style the couple repeatedly had sex following the night of their romantic engagement. They reportedly slept together whenever they met up for "secret dates" in Los Angeles while the show was airing.
