Towards the end of the twelve-week production process for the second season of Work Out, 44-year-old Sky Sport & Spa trainer Doug Blasdell fell seriously ill and eventually passed away on January 22. Blasdell is still listed as one of the trainers featured on the second season of Work Out, as the reality series will air footage of the gay trainer helping his clients stay in shape as well as how the other trainers dealt with his illness and passing.
Focusing on Sky Sport & Spa owner Jackie Warner, Work Out also touches upon the lives of eight other personal trainers employed at the fitness facility, including Rebecca Cardon, who finished third while competing on the sixth season of CBS' The Amazing Race.
The series' second season will also introduce a new trainer -- Gregg, a 24-year-old who was born and raised in Solon, Ohio -- as well as a new relationship between two of Sky Sport & Spa's trainers and Warner launching a new business venture.
Work Out is produced for Bravo by Mentron USA and is executive produced by Bruce Toms and Amy Shpall.
