Ryan Seacrest and Shana Wall remained friends after calling it quits on their romantic relationship in 2005, however she still kept her participation in The Amazing Race's currently airing twelfth season a secret from the American Idol host.

The 32-year-old actress and singer dated Seacrest on-and-off from 2003 to 2005. She's competing in The Amazing Race 12 with her friend Jennifer McCall, a 32-year-old legal assistant, who she met six-years-ago and became best friends with.
Wall and McCall are trying to become the first ever all-female team to claim The Amazing Race's $1 million grand prize.
"We will use our flirtatious ways and sexuality," Wall told In Touch. "Our aesthetic will play into our strategy a lot."
Considering Seacrest has a bevy of hosting jobs from Idol and E! News Live to his syndicated KIIS-FM morning radio show, Wall said it would have been difficult to run The Amazing Race with her ex.
"He has enough jobs to do," she told In Touch. "It's not humanly possible."
