Shanae Ankney received a rose from Clayton Echard on The Bachelor's Season 26 premiere, and she doesn't intend on going home any time soon.

According to previews and The Bachelor spoilers, the 29-year-old recruiter from Sycamore, OH, is going to emerge as a villain on Clayton's season.

ABC says Shanae is a girl with a "huge personality," and so she will apparently ruffle some feathers and rub some of her fellow bachelorettes the wrong way.

Shanae shared on The Bachelor premiere that she's a small town girl who had been testing the waters of an even smaller dating pool before her time on the reality TV show.

Shanae said she's very competitive when trying to get what she wants and the other women better watch out because she'd be coming into Clayton's season "hot."

And with that being said, Shanae pulled up to The Bachelor mansion in Los Angeles, CA, in a giant black pickup truck, which certainly made an impression on Clayton.

By the end of the evening, Shanae charmed Clayton and received a rose at the first Rose Ceremony of the season.

Shanae is attracted to a man with confidence, and she doesn't want a guy to waste her time by playing games.

Shanae also values her independence, so while Shanae would like to build a life with someone, she also wants a guy who will encourages her to achieve the goals she has set for herself.

The bachelorette wants to be able to be herself in a relationship and find a man who will honor and cherish her for the gem that she is.

Shanae also apparently is not interested in dating a man who performs magic, for whatever reason.
 

Shanae loves to dance, and Clayton appreciates a girl with some moves!

"Wherever the music is playing, bet you'll find me on the dance floor dancing with friends or even alone for hours upon hours," Shanae wrote on her Instagram.

"Dancing is my absolute favorite," she said, adding that she's in her "happy place" when she can move to music.

Shanae also loves Christmas so much that she keeps her tree up all year round, and she is obsessed with going to zoos.

Shanae recently had a spiritual awakening

The Bachelor bachelorette got baptized as a member of Rock City Church, a nondenominational church in Columbus, Ohio, in November 2021.

Shanae wrote on Instagram at the time that it was "such a special day" and "one of the best days" of her life. She was apparently surrounded by family and friends for the momentous occasion.
 

The bachelorette's job is in Ohio and she enjoys it

Shanae is the director of recruiting at OPOC.us.

She is leading an initiative to jumpstart a new Relationship Analyst position and has been with the company for about five years.

She previously held a job in administrative assistance with a neurosurgeon at The Ohio State University.

In addition, Shanae is a licensed cosmetologist!
