Shanae Ankney has found herself in the center of drama on Clayton Echard's The Bachelor season.

Mental illness became a storyline on Episode 2 of The Bachelor when Elizabeth Corrigan shared she has ADHD to help explain why she may have been unable to focus on and listen to Shanae, who had accused Elizabeth of being "two-faced" by posing as her friend one night and then ignoring her the next day.
But Shanae -- who informed Clayton she had seen "red flags" with Shanae -- proceeded to call Elizabeth "fake" and mock her disorder with comments such as, "ADHD my ass."

ABC says Shanae is a girl with a "huge personality," and so she may continue to ruffle some feathers and rub some of her fellow bachelorettes the wrong way.
Shanae said she's very competitive and gets what she wants, but will she win Clayton's heart with her aggressive approach to the dating process?
As Shanae put it on the show's premiere, she's coming in "hot!"

Shanae also values her independence, so while Shanae would like to build a life with someone, she also wants a guy who will encourages her to achieve the goals she has set for herself.
The bachelorette wants to be able to be herself in a relationship and find a man who will honor and cherish her for the gem that she is.
Shanae also apparently is not interested in dating a man who performs magic, for whatever reason.

Shanae loves to dance, and Clayton appreciates a girl with some moves!
"Wherever the music is playing, bet you'll find me on the dance floor dancing with friends or even alone for hours upon hours," Shanae wrote on her Instagram."Dancing is my absolute favorite," she said, adding that she's in her "happy place" when she can move to music.
Shanae also loves Christmas so much that she keeps her tree up all year round, and she is obsessed with going to zoos.

The bachelorette's job is in Ohio and she enjoys it
Shanae is the director of recruiting at OPOC.us.She is leading an initiative to jumpstart a new Relationship Analyst position and has been with the company for about five years.
She previously held a job in administrative assistance with a neurosurgeon at The Ohio State University.
In addition, Shanae is a licensed cosmetologist!
Shanae has been slammed for mocking Elizabeth's ADHD
Elizabeth clapped back at Shanae and is teaching her a lesson after Shanae doubted her struggle with ADHD and the girls got into an argument on a recent Season 26 episode.Elizabeth took to TikTok after Episode 2 of The Bachelor aired and posted a video advising people what to do when someone tells you they battle a mental illness.
As "Super Rich Kids" by Frank Ocean song played in the background, Elizabeth pointed at five different text captions that flashed across the screen.
"Acknowledge what they shared," Elizabeth, 32, began.
"Thank them for their vulnerability. Understand that you do not understand. NEVER weaponize it."
And the final piece of advice Elizabeth gave her followers was, "BE A GOOD PERSON!!"
When Elizabeth uploaded her video, she also wrote, "It's okay to not be okay."
