Shannen Doherty apparently has no plans to follow in the Dancing with the Stars footsteps of fellow former Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars Ian Ziering and Jennie Garth.

"We're TV actors. We're not used to performing live," Doherty told People. "We do takes and we get to mess up and we know that we're going to have another take where we get to be perfect. [On Dancing with the Stars] you've got to nail it the first time perfectly. It's a lot of pressure and a lot of nerves come from a show like that. I admire people that can do that. I'm not one of them."
While Doherty has no interest in competing on Dancing with the Stars, she says the show tried to cast her in the show's initial Summer 2005 edition.
"Dancing with the Stars actually offered it to me the very first one that they did and I have an issue being judged -- I'm not a big fan of it," she told People. "But I love the show."
The 36-year-old actress -- whose own reality TV credits include hosting Sci Fi's Scare Tactics and Oxygen's Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty -- says she watches the show every week, according to People.

Ziering appeared as a celebrity participant during Dancing with the Stars Spring 2007 fourth edition and finished fourth with professional partner Cheryl Burke, while Garth is still in the running for the fifth-season mirror ball trophy with her professional partner Derek Hough.
"[Garth] is amazing," Doherty told People. "Ian did great on it and Jennie is doing great on it."
Earlier this year, former 90210 co-star Jason Priestly also swore off any interest in Dancing with the Stars. But then again, so did Garth.
"Don't even say it, no," Garth told Access Hollywood after attending one of Ziering's Dancing with the Stars performances in April. "I can't imagine for my sake and all of America's sake, it would not be good."
Two months later, Garth's publicist confirmed that she would be part of the show's fall edition.
