The end of Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough's Dancing with the Stars journey apparently wasn't enough for them to be forthcoming about their seemingly obvious yet unconfirmed romantic relationship.

"We had a good time when we were on the show, and we'll continue to have a good time off the show. We're really good friends," Hough said as he sat alongside Elizabeth during a Tuesday night Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance that followed the couple's elimination from Dancing with the Stars' sixth season.
Elizabeth and Hough were photographed kissing and canoodling on a Malibu beach two weeks ago yet played coy about their relationship, while several of their fellow sixth-season couples weren't surprised at the two being more than just dance partners.
During last night's appearance, Kimmel asked Hough and Elizabeth -- who walked holding hands when they were introduced -- about the moment they realized there might be a romance blooming.
"It was the neck brace," answered Hough, referring to an injury he suffered earlier in the competition. "No, I'm just joking."

"It kind of was [the neck brace]," added Elizabeth with a laugh.
Kimmel tried to be persistent and asked if they planned on taking a "celebratory vacation."
"For me, personally, I haven't been on vacation in three-and-a-half years," answered Hough. "I really want to."
Hough then fell into Kimmel's "trap" when the host asked if they planned on vacationing together.
"We're actually thinking of London [or] Bali. There's a lot of places we want to go," Hough replied, using the plural pronoun.

Elizabeth said she "couldn't have asked for a better partner" during her Dancing with the Stars experience and added she was a bit shocked it ended when it did.
"You try to expect it every week because anything can happen," said Elizabeth. "I was literally just hoping for one more week, so I kind of was just trying to be positive and have that in my head. But it surprised me a little."
