Shayne Lamas claims rumors about the demise of her relationship with The Bachelor: London Calling star Matt Grant are simply poppycock.

Lamas also directly addressed rumors that she's seeing somebody else.
"I have friends, I grew-up in this town," she continued. "I go out with my friends and Matt is such a wonderful man that he allows me to have my freedom and to keep my friends that I already have. So if I'm out with my group of friends, of course they're going to be like, 'Shayne Lamas is now dating blah, blah, blah.' You can't believe everything that you read, and I'm sure people know that."
Speculation that the engaged couple had already called it quits accelerated when he moved out of Lamas' Century City, CA condominium last month, however Grant said his stay at Lamas' home was always intended to be "a stop-gap."
Grant also appeared on the After the Final Rose special and reiterated that he did not pop the question to Lamas just so he could get a green card.
"Of course, that's the easiest way to get a green card," he said during the special. "I didn't do it for a green card. Seriously."
Grant presented Lamas with his final rose and a marriage proposal -- both of which she accepted -- during The Bachelor: London Calling's finale broadcast. The couple subsequently told Reality TV World in a post-The Bachelor interview that they do plan on eventually getting married, however they have yet to set a timetable for when it will actually occur.
During the After the Final Rose special, Grant said him choosing between Lamas and Chelsea Wanstrath was different than The Bachelorette fourth-season star picking between Jesse Csincsak and Jason Mesnick.
"It was funny, with Shayne and I, there was just a bond that didn't exist with anyone else on the show," he explained. "It was always just such a pleasure to be around Shayne. I was always excited when it came to spending time with her."
