Simon Cowell has hinted he may marry pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman after all.

Silverman, a 36-year-old New York socialite who's expecting Cowell's baby this winter, was still with ex-husband Andrew Silverman when news of the pregnancy first surfaced in July.
The "adulterous affair" ended the couple's marriage and led Andrew, Cowell's former close friend, to file for divorce on July 15 -- citing adultery and naming Cowell a co-respondent. Lauren and Andrew have since reached a divorce settlement out of court.
Cowell, The X Factor creator and mentor who previously worked with Seacrest on American Idol, also told the Idol host it's safe to say he won't be present in the delivery room for his child's birth.
"Are you out of your mind?" Cowell reportedly said.
"I know this sounds awful, but it's like you don't want to go in to the restaurant while they're making your dinner. I think there are certain things you shouldn't see and that is one of them. I'll be very close by, but no, [I won't watch]."
Cowell still refuses to disclose whether he and Lauren -- who also has a seven-year-old son with Andrew -- are expecting a boy or girl, however, he kind of let the cat out of the bag when telling Seacrest a funny story.
"I said to Lauren, 'What if I just play me on tape while the baby is sleeping so the baby can hear me and have a British accent,'" the former Idol judge recalled, according to Us. "And his first words will be, 'You're absolutely useless!'"
Cowell added that the idea of becoming a father is increasingly growing on him.
"I genuinely never thought [me being a Dad] was going to happen," Cowell admitted to Seacrest. "Partly because I was scared of who I was going to have kids with... [but] Lauren and I get along really well and once I got used to the idea, I thought, 'I think this is going to be very good.'"
