"She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family," a source told Star, adding that the pint-sized reality TV star has been hinting about some upcoming big news she plans to share.
"She's been telling people that she has a big announcement coming."
Snooki alluded to the fact she may be expecting a baby last week.
"I feel sick," the 24-year-old Jersey Shore star reportedly wrote on her Facebook fan page, before subsequently posting on her Twitter account that she was having a "Late night craving... yogurt hits the fricken spot!"
Snooki and fellow Jersey Shore co-star Jenni "J-Woww" Farley will be starring in their own new spinoff that is scheduled to air on MTV later this year, but the alleged pregnancy will reportedly impact the show.
"They are having to redo the creative direction of her spin-off because of her pregnancy," the source added.
Reports that MTV was developing a spinoff for the pair had initially surfaced early last year and the network announced the project's pickup in April.
