The New York Daily News said the $6 million suit was filed in Manhattan federal court Friday against Excell Brands, LLC, alleging the company took it upon themselves to release a fragrance bearing her name and signature.

"Plaintiff was not contacted, nor did she give her consent to the use of her personal name," the lawsuit said. The newspaper said Excell had no immediate comment.

Polizzi has her own "Snooki" perfume on the market.

It retails for $45 for a 3.3-ounce bottle, the Daily News said.
