Witney Carson, an 18-year-old Latin ballroom dancer from American Fork, UT, and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp, a 23-year-old ballet dancer from Zurich, Switzerland, were the other two bottom-four vote-getting dancers still in danger of elimination during Wednesday night's broadcast, but they were saved by the So You Think You Can Dance judges.
The judges were required to eliminate two individuals, one male and one female, from the Top 10 last night based not only upon their performances from last week's show but also their new routines performed with all-star partners Wednesday night. The judges asked all four dancers to each perform a solo routine and "dance for their lives" to help them determine which two contestants should remain on the show.
After watching the four "dance for your life" performers and evaluating other criteria -- such as what the dancers' choreographers had to say about their talent, progress and potential in the competition -- the judges decided to send Audrey and George home.
