"Being on the show is my dream come true. It's a priceless experience, and I'm really, really happy I got to be here," Iveta said during a video montage following her ouster.
"What other stage would I want to be on besides the So You Think You Can Dance stage? I was trained to give to the audience and people will remember how you feel," Missy said after So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley revealed her elimination. "I'm going to miss you guys so much, and thank you judges, and I love my mom and my grandma. Thank you family."
"Being a dancer means absolutely everything to me. It's my life. I'm so lucky and blessed to be able to share my story with so many people, Wadi told Deeley after his elimination was announced. "I'm so proud of myself and I'm so blessed. I couldn't have asked for more. I never expected to be dancing on this stage, ever, and I wasn't even going to come back to audition again. It was such a great journey."
"I can't do anything but enjoy myself when I have a pair of tap shoes on. It's going to be hard to top this," Nick said in a video montage following his ouster."
"I just love you guys like you're my family," Nick told the other dancers still remaining in the competition.
Ricky Jaime, a 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Miami, FL who currently resides in Tampa, FL; and Ryan Ramirez, a 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Morgan Hill, CA who currently resides in North Hollywood, CA, were the other bottom-three vote-getting couple still in danger of elimination during Thursday night's broadcast, but they were saved by the So You Think You Can Dance judges.
The judges were required to eliminate two couples -- two males and two females -- last night, because they had decided to eliminate no one during last Thursday night's live results show, which was supposed to feature the eliminations of one male and one female dancer and reduce the Top 20 to the Top 18.
Iveta had been randomly paired with Nick while Missy had been partnered with Wadi.
So You Think You Can Dance's third eighth-season performance show will air on Wednesday, June 29 at 8PM ET/PT and feature the 16 remaining finalists performing for home viewer votes.
So You Think You Can Dance's next one-hour eighth-season live results show will then air on Thursday at 8PM ET/PT, featuring the elimination of one more couple.
