So You Think You Can Dance has been hit with a performance-preventing injury for the second week in a row.

"Another day, another injury. This feels like a terrible moment of deja vu, but tonight I have to announce another contestant injury. After rehearsals on Monday, Ashley was taken to the hospital with severe rib pains and she has been advised not to dance tonight," So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley announced at beginning of the performance show.
Since she was unable to perform on Wednesday's show, Galvan will -- just as how the show handled last week's Alex Wong injury -- now automatically be part of Thursday night's results show bottom threesome (which are usually based solely on home viewer voting) and So You Think You Can Dance's judges will determine if she should be the bottom three contestant eliminated.
However Galvan would then automatically be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance's seventh season if she were still unable to perform during next week's Top 6 performance show.
"If they can't dance two weeks on the run, then unfortunately they have to leave the competition," So You Think You Can Dance judge and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe explained as he recapped the stricter new injury rules the show adopted this season.
Afterward, Deeley also gave viewers and update on Wong, who was forced to withdraw and eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance's seventh season after he suffered a lacerated Achilles tendon while rehearsing for last week's Top 8 performance show.
"On Monday night, he had surgery to reconnect his Achilles tendon... he is still in the hospital," Deeley said before showing a post-surgery video in which Wong thanked viewers for their support and said his doctors expect him to recover well.
"I feel as though I'm on ER or something," she quipped.
