Mitchell Kelly and Clarice Ordaz were eliminated by So You Think You Can Dance judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as well as guest judge Neil Patrick Harris after they found themselves in the bottom four based on home viewer votes cast immediately following Wednesday night's performance show.
"I want the world to see that my heart's really set on dancing and performing -- just doing what I love. I would like to be remembered for really capturing the audience and the world," Clarice, a 19-year-old jazz dancer from Whittier, CA, said in a video after her elimination was announced.
"Those people over there, I am so happy to have met all of you and thank you for accepting me for me. I love all of you guys so much. I'm going to miss you, but I'll see you soon. I'm so blessed. This is amazing," she added afterwards.
"This is the time for me to do what I have to do. It's what I've been waiting for; It's my dream. Thousands and thousands of dancers wanted to be on this show, so I feel like I achieved a lot," Mitchell, a 20-year-old contemporary dancer from Chicago, IL who currently resides in Atlanta, GA said in his own video.

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley then asked Mitchell what the best moments of his experience on the show were.
"This stage, all these dancers here, America accepting me for who I am, my parents in Atlanta, and the judges for helping me to grow... [Ricky Jaime], you're like a brother to me and I really want you to go far. And [Melanie Moore], you're such a phenomenal dancer -- every one of ya'll. I just really love you guys," he added.
Ricky, a 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Miami, FL who currently resides in Tampa, FL, and Jordan Casanova, an 18-year-old jazz dancer from Chino Hills, CA, were the other two members of the bottom-four vote-getters in danger of elimination, but they were saved by the So You Think You Can Dance judges.
Prior to the eliminations, So You Think You Can Dance also announced that second-season contestant Ivan Koumaev; third-season contestants Jaimie Goodwin, Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev -- who also participated in Wednesday night's performance show -- Lauren Gottlieb, and Neil Haskell; fifth-season contestant Ade Obayomi; and seventh-season winner Lauren Froderman will return to the show and serve as all-star partners for the Top 8 contestants next week.
So You Think You Can Dance's seventh eighth-season performance show will air on Wednesday, July 27 at 8PM ET/PT and feature the eight remaining finalists performing for home viewer votes.
