Judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Vanessa Hudgens will be returning to the panel, and host Cat Deeley will also reprise her role.
The new season will feature highly-skilled dancers from the ages of 18-30 auditioning in various dance styles -- including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking and more.
If a talented dancer makes it to "The Academy" callback rounds in Los Angeles, he or she will learn different choreographed routines and attempt to impress the judges with one performance after the next.
The final group of selected dancers will then compete live each week for America's votes. These top dancers will be eliminated weekly until a winner is named on the season finale.
Fox announced in February the network had renewed So You Think You Can Dance for another season, and initial auditions kicked off in New York and Los Angeles this month.
"I am always blown away by the sheer level of raw talent on this show," Fox executive Rob Wade said in a statement at the time of So You Think You Can Dance's renewal announcement.
"These are real people -- unknown stars in their own right. And each week, they tell compelling, emotional stories through their craft. We can't wait for Nigel, Mary, Vanessa and Cat to hit the road once again and uncover the phenomenal talent that's out there."
"It's incredible to make it to 15 seasons, which just speaks to the impact this program has had, not only on the world of dance, but also on our loyal fans and viewers, to whom we are most grateful," Nigel added.
In September 2017, Lex Ishimoto was crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance. The 19-year-old won the cash prize of $250,000 as well as the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and the title of "America's Favorite Dancer."
In addition to So You Think You Can Dance, Beat Shazam hosted by Jamie Foxx and Love Connection hosted by Andy Cohen will also debut new seasons with back-to-back episodes starting at 8PM ET/PT on Tuesday, May 29.
Fox also revealed Season 9 of Masterchef will premiere Wednesday, May 30 at 8PM ET/PT, and an all-new series starring Gordon Ramsay, Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours To Hell and Back, will debut Wednesday, June 13 at 9PM ET/PT.
