Travis Wall and Stephen "tWitch" Boss will have crucial roles in the next season of So You Think You Can Dance.

Wall and tWitch will be working with the Top 20 finalists, joining new judges Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo as well as the show's mainstay judge Nigel Lythgoe. Cat Deeley will be returning as host.
Beginning with the Las Vegas callbacks, the dancers will be divided into the best Stage and the best Street dancers. Wall will mentor the Stage dancers, while tWitch will mentor the Street dancers.
Stage dancers will include those trained in styles such as contemporary, ballet, jazz and tap. The latter will feature hopefuls skilled in hip-hop, animation or breaking. The show's judges and each team's all-star mentor will eliminate dancers as the process unfolds until only a Top 20 remains. The Top 20 will be comprised of 10 Stage dancers and 10 Street dancers.
When the competition goes live, the Top 20 will perform different choreographed routines from a broad range of dance styles each week and one dancer from each genre -- one Stage and one Street -- will be eliminated, leading right up to the Season 12 finale during which only one dancer will be crowned champion.
On Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance, tWitch finished as the runner-up. He has since served as an all-star dancer, choreographer and guest judge on the series. In addition to his show participation, tWitch has starred in Step Up and Stomp the Yard, and he'll be featured in the upcoming sequel to Magic Mike.
Wall is a four-time Emmy Award-nominated contemporary choreographer. He landed in the runner-up spot during the second season of So You Think You Can Dance in 2006 and has since choreographed some of the most memorable dances in the show's history.
In addition to appearing as a guest judge on the series on occasion, Wall also provided choreography for Step Up: Revolution as well as numerous high-profile events and award ceremonies.
So You Think You Can Dance was created by Lythgoe and Simon Fuller. The series is produced by 19 Entertainment and dick clark productions with Fuller, Lythgoe, Allen Shapiro, Barry Adelman, James Breen, and Jeff Thacker serving as executive producers.
