Spencer Pratt apparently wasn't pleased that NBC canceled his Monday appearance on The Today Show with wife Heidi Montag, and he took his anger out on former foe Al Roker.

"WEATHERMAN I thought you were out of town today getting your stomache (sic) stapled again?" Pratt ranted on his Twitter account on Monday.  "You look very sick? Do you always look like your about to die? How old are you 97? You should retire asap- No one would even know?"

The Twitter assault didn't end there, as Pratt also attacked Roker's relationship with his children and his marital history.

"I heard you snitched on your own kids at school! I bet your kids HATE you!! I would if my own dad came to my school and snitched me about," wrote Pratt.

"Is it true you have been married 6 times? I'm sure all your wives left you when they realized you were abusive to women! Sicko!"

Pratt and Montag were scheduled to appear on Monday's The Today Show broadcast and be interviewed by Roker to promote their new book "How to Be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture."

However "due to a change in the show's schedule," the network had to "cancel the interview," a The Today Show representative told Us Weekly.

The hostility between The Hills' stars and Today weatherman originated in June when Montag and Pratt appeared on the morning show following their on-again, off-again stint on NBC's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

During the interview, Roker asked Montag whether she was "proud" of her behavior and told Pratt people think he acts like a "jerk."

Roker's bashing of the couple continued even after cameras stopped rolling.

"Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for...being infamous," wrote Roker in a Twitter post at the time. "Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we're at minute 11 of their 15."

Montag subsequently told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show that she was "shocked at how rude" Roker was.

"I was crying afterwards because I felt personally attacked because he was yelling and saying, 'Do you feel proud of this?'" she told Seacrest at the time.

"We were going there for a great interview. I just wanted to talk about the show and my experience there and how fun it was," she said. "He just made it uncomfortable and an awful experience. To be honest, I wouldn't be interviewed by him again. And I'd advise women to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely attacked me and I didn't deserve that at all."
