Splash eliminated comedian Louie Anderson during Tuesday night's broadcast of the new reality diving competition's fourth episode on ABC.

"This is something that has changed my life and this is not my last dive. This is my first step into a brand new life," Louie explained in his final words.
Louie was automatically ousted from the competition after he had received a 5.75 for his 16-foot dive -- the lowest average score of the night -- from Splash judges David Boudia, a London Olympic U.S. Gold medalist, and Steve Foley, an Australian Olympic athlete and USA Dive Team director.
In a Splash first, there was no audience vote or dive-off, so the elimination results were solely in the judges' hands. Each contestant was required to incorporate some type of somersault or flip into their dives.
Model and reigning Miss Alabama USA Katherine Webb beat Louie by only a quarter of a point, as she had earned an average score of 6 from the judges for her dive from 23 feet. Katherine cried when she realized Louie was getting sent home because the two had apparently become very close.

"I think I'm just more upset to see Louie go than anything. I love [him]!" Katherine said, hugging Louie.
"You've got to carry on," the comedian told her. "Carry on."
The five other celebrity participants dived and survived during last night's episode after undergoing weeks of training with medalled diving legend Greg Louganis.
Actress Nicole Eggert received an average of 8.25 from the judges for her dive from 16 feet.
Rory Bushfield, an extreme skier, dove from 33 feet and earned a 7.25 average score from Steve and David.

Retired NBA basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar earned a 6.25 average score for his three-meter springboard dive.
Nickelodeon star Drake Bell received an average score of 6.25 for his 33-feet dive.
Professional soccer player Brandi Chastain, who recently entered the competition as an alternate, dove from 23 feet and also earned a 6.25 average score.
Next Tuesday night's Splash broadcast will feature all the celebrities diving from the 10-meter, or 33-feet, platform.
