Each one-hour episode of Starter Wives Confidential will follow seven women who had supported their former husbands and boyfriends before the men acquired fame and wealth. Cast members Zakia Baum, Cheryl Caruso, Josie Harris, Monica Joseph-Taylor, Liza Morales, Tashera Simmons, and Shaniqua Tompkins were all devoted to their guys but are now trying to move forward and start over on their own.
TLC had previously announced the show and revealed its cast in early October.
Baum is the ex-girlfriend of Jermaine "Maino" Coleman and mother of his son, while Caruso is the ex-wife of mobster Phillip Caruso and mother of his two daughters. Harris is Floyd Mayweather's ex-girlfriend and mother of his three children. Joseph-Taylor is the soon-to-be ex-wife of Aston "Funkmaster Flex" Taylor and mother of his two children.
Morales is the ex-girlfriend of and has three children with Lamar Odom, while Simmons is Earl "DMX" Simmons' ex-wife and mother of four of his children. Lastly, Tompkins is the ex-girlfriend of and has one son with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.
Starter Wives Confidential is being produced by NOLA.
