Bobby Brown's broadcasting gig ended as a Washington radio station rescinded its offer to pay his back child support so he could be released from jail.

Brown denied the employment portion of their agreement during an on-air phone conversation with his would-be boss Friday, hanging up on him, the Ledger reported.
The station announced on its Web site during the weekend that it had withdrawn its offer to help Brown and that his attorney had agreed to return the money.
"There are better things we can do with the money locally," the radio station said on its Web site.
