"I'm just grateful for the whole thing. It was cool."
The former Jackass and Dr. Steve-O star and his professional partner Lacey Schwimmer became the sixth couple booted from Dancing with the Stars' eighth season during last night's live results show broadcast on ABC.
"I'm actually shocked I didn't win the whole thing," Glover joked to Kimmel, who asked if the prankster was seriously surprised by his ouster.
"No, not at all," replied Glover.
Schwimmer -- a former So You Think You Can Dance finalist -- was presumably only half-joking when she told Kimmel her initial reaction to being paired with Glover was "aw crap."
"No, honestly I was a huge fan of his back in the day and I was just more excited to meet him," she added.
"[Yeah], back in the 50's," Kimmel shot back as Glover laughed.
"Well... I'm 20-years-old [now], so when [Jackass] came out I was probably about 11. So I was pretty young and not really allowed to watch it -- but I did," Schwimmer explained. "I was so thrilled to have him and it was a lot of fun."
Glover's Dancing with the Stars journey was injury-plagued from the start. Within the first week of the competition, he was saddled with back pain and spasms caused by torn muscles but continued in the competition only to once again face injury, missing a live performance show after aggravating his back while rehearsing a front flip.
Despite the daunting task of dealing with Glover's crazy antics and back injuries, Schwimmer said she was up for it.
"I took it a day at a time with him," she told Kimmel. "Every day was different."

While he may have been unable to claim the mirror ball trophy, Glover apparently took some solace in the fact that he last as long as 82-year-old seventh-season celebrity participant Cloris Leachman.
"I lasted as long as Cloris Leachman for crying out loud," he said. "That's amazing."
