Numerous reality television series have documented what brides go through before their big day. Now it's apparently time for the grooms to finally get some recognition.

I Propose, a new reality series that follows future grooms throughout the process and up until they pop the question to their brides-to-be, will make its premiere Tuesday, June 12 as part of The Style Network's annual 21-day "Wedding Party" programming event.
Each half-hour episode of I Propose will document the process most grooms go through as they search for just the right moment to ask for their significant other's hand in marriage. But it's not that simple, as the future fiancees also have to get the father-of-the-bride's consent and overcome various other obstacles before they can finally get down on bended knee to pop the question. Hopefully for the potential grooms, each episode will end with "I do."
"I Propose offers the perfect mix of drama, romance and comedy, creating an irresistible, at times tear-jerking, series that will resonate with Style viewers," Salaam Coleman Smith, executive vice president of Style Network, recently told TV Week. "With this latest installment of wedding programming, we are taking a genre that we know our viewers adore and are offering a fresh spin and new perspective through the eyes of the groom."
The eight-episode series is developed by The Style Network's Elaine Brooks and Sarah Weidman, with Stone and Company Entertainment producing the series. Scott A. Stone and Tracy Mazuer will serve as executive producers.
