Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance's Ta Keo tribe snuffed Vytas Baskauskas' torch during Wednesday night's premiere episode on CBS.

Baskauskas became the first castaway voted out of his Ta Keo tribe via a 6-4 vote at Season 31's first Tribal Council session on Night 3 of the game.

"Before I came out here, I remember saying, 'I'd rather not get picked than be picked and be the first boot.' It sucks. I came out here and tried to find people I wanted to work with, and apparently they saw me as a big threat, which I totally respect. They were afraid of me and for a good reason," Vytas said following his ouster.

Survivor's debut broadcast began with host Jeff Probst talking about how all the players this season were veteran castaways, who never won the game, selected by America to compete for a second chance at the $1 million.

Kass McQuillen told the cameras she's going to try to be less aggressive and abrasive until the merge when she can become "Chaos Kass" again. Jeremy Collins said he wants to win this time around for his wife, whom he had played Survivor: San Juan del Sur with. Season 1's Kelly Wiglesworth and Season 2's Jeff Varner admitted memories of losing their first time around haunted them for 15 and 14 years respectively.

Once all the castaways -- divided into three small boats -- met Probst, the host explained they would be divided into two tribes: Ta Keo and Bayon. Both tribes were named after famous temples in Cambodia.

The Bayon tribe was comprised of Joe Anglim (Survivor: Worlds Apart); Jeremy (Survivor: San Juan del Sur); Ciera Eastin (Survivor: Blood vs. Water); Stephen Fishbach (Survivor: Tocantins); Tasha Fox (Survivor: Cagayan); Kimmi Kappenberg (Survivor: The Australian Outback); Kass (Survivor: Cagayan); Keith Nale (Survivor: San Juan del Sur); Monica Padilla (Survivor: Samoa); and Andrew Savage (Survivor: Pearl Islands).

The Ta Keo tribe consisted of Vytas (Survivor: Blood vs. Water); Spencer Bledsoe (Survivor: Cagayan); Terry Deitz (Survivor: Panama); Abi-Maria Gomes (Survivor: Philippines); Woo Hwang (Survivor: Cagayan); Peih-Gee Law (Survivor: China); Shirin Oskooi (Survivor: Worlds Apart); Jeff (Survivor: The Australian Outback); Kelley Wentworth (Survivor: San Juan del Sur); and Kelly Wiglesworth (Survivor: Borneo).

Jeff instructed the two tribes to paddle out to another boat where they could gather as many supplies as possible on their small boats. However, 100 yards away, a giant bag of rice was sitting on another boat. The castaways had to quickly strategize when was the opportune time to grab the rice and which person on their tribe was the strongest swimmer.

After everyone rushed to the supplies first, Woo and Wiglesworth duked it out in the water to get the big bag of rice. Joe then jumped in and basically caught up to them, but Woo got there first and snagged the rice.

The castaways then walked to their camps and began getting settled. On Day 1 in Ta Keo, Terry, Wiglesworth, Woo and Spencer quickly emerged as the hard workers while building the shelter. Terry noted the main difference between new school and old school Survivor players is that the newbies talk game immediately, while old school players just focus on shelter and fire.

Terry talked to Spencer and revealed his son had suggested they align with one another because he's loyal. Spencer said they should definitely play together, but he didn't trust anyone. He planned to have more one-on-one conversations with people that first day than he did during his whole season in Cagayan. 
Meanwhile, Abi-Maria's bag disappeared, and inside it was her favorite bracelet signifying her "super powers." She annoyed a lot of people with her complaining, but she tried not to pull out her fangs. 

Over at Bayon's camp, Jeremy got all buddy-buddy again with Keith as well as Andrew. He wanted Tasha on his side, the strongest female in his mind, and hoped to create an alphas alliance. He wanted Andrew, a big physical threat, and Joe with him to provide a shield since he's Survivor's golden boy. Joe was happy with the plan because it made it easier than watching the alphas work against each other. He thought the strong alliance would help him.

Stephen, on the other hand, felt like a fish out of water, just like he did last time in Survivor. He wasn't great at building the shelter and was struggling to find a way to fit in.

Meanwhile, at Ta Keo, Vytas was trying to manipulate the women to work with him -- a strategy that had worked for him in Blood vs. Water -- but he didn't want his tribe to catch on. However, Shirin thought Vytas was kind of sleazy and didn't like how many connections he had with, not only their tribe, but the other one.

Shirin then warned Jeff and Spencer about Vytas' position. The trio also brought in Wiglesworth.

Abi ended up finding her bracelet in Peih-Gee's bag but decided not to confront her in order to prove she was able to keep her temper under wraps. However, Abi went around and told everyone about it. Finally, Peih-Gee explained the bag had no name on it and she just grabbed it off the boat so it wasn't left there. Abi pretended like everything was fine, but Peih-Gee could tell she wasn't pleased.

At Bayon's camp, Stephen went looking for a hidden Immunity Idol while gathering firewood. He searched in a swamp but found nothing. Joe made fire for his tribe, and Andrew said he was in awe of Joe's survival skills.

On Day 2, Jeff on  Ta Keo told the cameras he felt like he had never played the game before. It was difficult and happening really fast. He just didn't want to get left behind. Jeff then spoke to Peih-Gee about how it seemed like camp was divided into the shelter people vs. the beach people. Jeff wanted to go after Vytas, but Peih-Gee countered with Abi's name. Jeff was torn between two worlds of old and new gamers.

The following day, Wentworth went off to gather coconuts but simultaneously looked for a hidden Immunity Idol. She ended up finding a clue in the middle of a strange-looking tree covered in brush. The note required her to be "daring."

"Near the end of your next Immunity Challenge, you will place your raft on a stand made of four small tripods. Tucked under the front right tripod is the hidden Immunity Idol. The only question is, 'Are you bold enough to grab it in the middle of a challenge and right in front of your unsuspecting tribemates?' If so, the immunity idol is yours."

Over at Bayon's camp, the castaways received Tree Mail that notified them of how their first Immunity Challenge was going to copy the first challenge from Survivor's first season. Monica worried about being the weakest player on her tribe. On a random side note, Tasha revealed to the cameras she was really attracted to Joe.

Meanwhile, Vytas on Ta Keo was teaching the girls how to do yoga poses. Wentworth called Vytas "a bug" to be crushed. She hated how he was trying to flirt with everyone, and it grossed her out. But Vytas found Abi to be a tough person to deal with. He didn't want to be overconfident and unaware again in the game, however, he seemed clueless about the fact people were annoyed with him.

Jeff then talked to Wiglesworth and Vytas about potentially taking Abi-Maria out.

The castaways then gathered for their first Immunity Challenge of the season. Probst instructed each tribe to race out to a raft which they'd work together to move through the water. One player had to light a torch and then use it to light a series of fires along the way to the shore. Once on solid ground, one castaway from each tribe was required to use sticks and rope to fashion a long pole used to retrieve a key set on a ring.

The first tribe to open its gate and light its final fire would win immunity and be safe from the first vote. They were also playing for Reward in the form of a complete fire-making kit, which included wood, matches and a tarp for the wood.

During the challenge, Keith slowed Bayon down because he had trouble keeping his main torch lit. Wentworth also missed her first opportunity to grab the hidden Immunity Idol. She was afraid her fellow castaways would see her take it.

However, once Joe and Wiglesworth got extremely close to getting their keys and everyone was screaming for them, Wentworth ran a couple feet behind her amidst the chaos and took the idol out from underneath the tripod.

Wiglesworth failed to grab the key, so Spencer gave it a quick shot. However, it was too late and Bayon ended up winning the challenge. Wiglesworth took full responsibility for her tribe's loss because they started the pole portion of the task with a huge lead. Everyone assured her it was okay, but she still cried in disappointment and defeat.

Probst then shocked the Ta Keo tribe by revealing they were to head to Tribal Council immediately. Everyone was nervous because they had no time to discuss strategy on the beach. Spencer pointed out he wouldn't have a chance to get his ducks in a row.

On Night 3 at Tribal Council, Wiglesworth told Probst she didn't know where she stood, but Jeff said everyone had an idea who was going home because a lot of work had been accomplished back on the beach. Vytas explained the vote wasn't random, that people knew whom they wanted to work with. Woo confessed he didn't know where he was voting.

It quickly became apparent there was a division in the tribe. Abi assumed it was an all-male alliance, but Vytas said Ta Keo was still all about unity. Abi admitted it would be heartbreaking and devastating to go this early in the game, as she realized she was probably the target. Woo also pointed out the vote came down to who could get along with everyone. Abi thought Woo's comment was directed at her.

Wiglesworth told Probst she was picking up on cues, while Jeff said he was doing the same -- so much that he was missing out on a lot of sleep.

Probst then tallied the votes. Six castaways voted for Vytas, while four people voted to oust Abi from Survivor Cambodia.

On Vytas' way out, he said he had no hard feelings toward anyone. Probst then told the tribe they had flint waiting for them back at camp.

The episode's closing credits showed that Abi, Wentworth, Spencer, Shirin, Peih-Gee and Jeff all voted for Vytas to leave their tribe.
