Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites' merged Enil Edam tribe eliminated Malcolm Freberg, a 25-year-old bartender from Hermosa Beach, CA, from their tribe during Wednesday night's eleventh episode of the CBS reality series' 26th edition.

Malcolm was voted out of his tribe at the season's eleventh Tribal Council, the fourth time the new Enil Edam tribe had an elimination vote.

"You know what? It's been a great ride. I spent $480 on an idol clue and I didn't find the idol. I found two without paying and I can't find the one I actually paid for. I'm probably going to get a little mocking after this, but I wouldn't have played it tonight anyways. I thought I was safe, and it just goes to show you as soon as you think you've got it figured out, you're going home. And tonight was my time; I got burned pretty bad," Malcolm said following his ouster.

Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites' eleventh episode picked up where last week's episode had ended, with the game's nine remaining castaways returning to camp on Night 28 following the Tribal Council session in which Phillip Sheppard was voted off.

Reynold Toepfer, a 30-year-old in real estate sales from San Francisco, CA, said it was worth using two hidden Immunity Idols and a third Immunity necklance to get Phillip off the island. Malcolm hoped the "Stealth R Us" alliance would fracture as a result of Phillip's absence and that one or two castaways would "come over to the dark side" and join the three amigos -- which also featured Edward "Eddie" Fox, a 23-year-old fireman and EMT from East Brunswick, NJ.

If that plan didn't work, Malcolm felt he had no shot at winning the game.

"The stability has been rocked in the game, like the legs have been kicked out under the chair of 'Stealth R Us' and it opens me up to talking with people that Phillip didn't want me to talk to. The tricky part now is deciding when to vote with the three boys and when to vote with the remaining 'Favorites,' and I enjoy that position because I can choose at the last minute which option is better for [me]," said Erik Reichenbach, a 27-year-old comic book artist from Santa Clarita, CA.

On Day 29, everyone was hungry and their spirits were low. Brenda Lowe, a 30-year-old paddleboard company owner from Miami, FL, broke down in tears. She said the previous Tribal Council session scared her and she was terrified of losing control in the game. Brenda was simply uncertain what the three guys had up their sleeves and were capable of achieving.

The Enil Edam tribe then received Tree Mail in the form of nine envelopes, featuring $500 per person. The castaways agreed they would be participating in the Survivor auction, and Malcolm was hoping to get an advantage in the next Immunity Challenge or the game in general. Although he admitted he'd love to purchase food because he was starving, he knew a strategic decision was much more important considering the circumstances.

The tribe then met Survivor host Jeff Probst for the auction. Each castaway could bid in $30-dollar increments but was not allowed to share money with anyone or food unless instructed otherwise. The tribemates were warned the auction could end at any moment without warning so they had to bid intelligently.

During the auction, Malcolm paid for cold beer and peanuts and also received a secret clue to where a hidden Immunity Idol was buried at camp. Reynold blindly bid on one slice of pizza, while Sherri Biethman, a 41-year-old fast food franchisee from Boise, ID, spent all her money to buy the remainder of the pizza.

Dawn Meehan, a 42-year-old English professor from South Jordan, UT, spent $500 for a roast chicken, and while Andrea Boehlke -- a 23-year-old entertainment host and writer from New York -- won pasta, meatballs and garlic bread, she gave up the reward for a bag of beans and rice for the whole tribe.

John Cochran, a 25-year-old law student from Washington, DC, paid $340 for an advantage in the next Individual Immunity Challenge, and Brenda unfortunately blindly spent $300 on pig brain. Most of the castaways also got a letter from home if they had $20 bucks to spend by the end of the auction. Lastly, Eddie bought a giant bowl of peanut butter to share with everyone in 60 seconds.

"Malcolm bought a clue, which was most likely for where the location of the idol is. And people are a little psyched out by last Tribal Council. Even though there's only three of them, maybe they're going to pull some crazy thing, and because they've got that arrogance, they can get a sense of, 'No matter what they do, we'll outplay them. We'll outwit them. So go with us,'" Dawn explained.

Once everyone got back to camp, many of the castaways read their letters from home and got very emotional, especially Cochran. Cochran admitted he had been trying to keep a brave face on throughout the game but he just had to let his feelings out.

Reynold talked to Sherri, saying she and Erik should come onboard with himself, Malcolm and Eddie and they'd be guaranteed Final 5. Sherri clearly considered the idea, as she noted "if you can't beat them, join them."

While Malcolm's alliance was outnumbered six to three, Sherri and Erik joining them would give them majority. Reynold decided he wanted to target Cochran first and get the key players out of the "Stealth R Us" alliance to further crack it.

That night, Malcolm went digging for his third idol in the game to ensure he'd be able to stick around longer. However, he was caught searching by Andrea, who told him she was going to sit there and watch him all night. Malcolm laughed it off, but realized Andrea was acting as a guard and the "little sister he couldn't get rid of."

On Day 30, Enil Edam's castaways met Jeff, who then explained the rules to what would be their eleventh Immunity Challenge but fourth Individual Immunity Challenge of the season.

For the challenge, each tribe member had to hold onto a rope connected to a heavy log with one hand. At regular intervals, each person had to move one knot lower on the rope, making the weight more difficult to bare. If someone dropped his or her rope, he or she would be out of the challenge.

The winner would receive individual immunity and be safe from the vote at the upcoming Tribal Council. The champion would be granted a one in eight shot at winning the million dollars.

The advantage Cochran had won during the auction allowed him to move his hand up two knots at any point in the challenge. However, no one saw Cochran as a physical threat regardless, so no one was worried.

Brenda was out of the challenge first, and she was soon followed by Erik, Sherri, Malcolm, Andrea, Dawn, Reynold, Eddie, and finally Cochran. Cochran was then declared the winner.

Once everyone got back to camp, Malcolm knew he couldn't look for the buried idol so he had to bluff his way through it. Malcolm was convinced, however, that his alliance had Sherri. Therefore, if the "Favorites" alliance decided to split their votes for two guys, Malcolm's group would have four votes to trump their vote.   

Malcolm then told Sherri he was willing to make a final deal with her if she would agree to flipping. Sherri wasn't sure whom to side with because both options has their pros and cons. Malcolm told her to vote for Andrea. Erik then told Reynold he'd vote with the boys. Erik wasn't sure what he wanted to do either though, as he enjoyed playing both sides.

Erik promised Dawn that he'd vote with them and no one was flipping. She was upset because she wasn't entirely convinced of Erik's loyalty and expressed how her entire game was in his hands. Erik tried to put her mind at ease but still told the cameras it was possibly he might change his mind at the last minute at Tribal Council.

Andrea then told Cochran the girls would vote Reynold and the guys would vote Malcolm. Cochran wanted to put all their votes on one person in case their alliance cracked, but Andrea feared an idol might be played and then she'd be the target. So Cochran seemed to agree on splitting their votes. Meanwhile, Sherri acknowledged the game was hers and no one realized it.

That night, Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites' members of the Enil Edam tribe arrived for the season's eleventh Tribal Council session.

Michael Snow and Phillip joined the castaways as the season's first two jury members.

Andrea told Jeff that anyone flipping in her alliance would be dooming their game because the three guys would be able to dominate every challenge and use and abuse the bottom members of their alliance. Sherri announced she thought she was on the bottom of the "Favorites" alliance as it was, and then Dawn attempted to assure her that wasn't the case.

Andrea revealed she was about 80% percent sure Malcolm had a hidden Immunity Idol. Erik then told Jeff he was wondering whether he should "trade up" for another alliance. Andrea reiterated the fact it's important to trust the people you're with.

Jeff then revealed the votes and it was a three-way tie amongst Reynold, Malcolm and Andrea. The tribemates then had to cast their votes again in which Reynold, Malcolm and Andrea couldn't vote at all and everyone else had to vote for one of those three.

When Jeff displayed the second round of votes, four people had voted to oust Malcolm from Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites.

The episode's closing credits later showed everyone had voted for Malcolm in the re-vote.
