It looks as if Alex Angarita will need to use his knowledge as an attorney more than the survival skills he learned as a castaway on CBS' Survivor: Fiji.

The 28-year-old Harvard law graduate who is originally from Colombia was in-front of a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge on Tuesday after police claim he attacked a peace officer, the website TMZ.com reported.
According to the felony complaint, Angarita "used threats and violence to deter and prevent" two officers from doing their job when they responded to a 911 call placed on February 9. While it is unclear why police were called in the first place, the Survivor: Fiji castaway was reportedly arrested and charged with two felony counts of resisting arrest; one felony count of battery with injury to a peace officer; and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.
Angarita spent three hours behind bars at a Los Angeles County jail prior to his release on $20,000 bail, TMZ.com reported. His Tuesday hearing will be continued on Wednesday, March 14.
As of Thursday afternoon, Angarita was one of 14 castaways still in the running for the $1 million prize on Survivor: Fiji, which was filmed late last year and airs on CBS on Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT.
