According to Probst, returning player Kelley Wentworth, a 31-year-old marketing manager from Ephrata, WA, who currently resides in Seattle, WA, will likely take home the $1 million grand prize.
"My pick is Wentworth to win the game. She's got so many skills," Probst told Us of the blonde beauty who previously competed on Survivor: San Juan Del Sur -- Blood vs. Water and Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance.
Wentworth is one of four veteran players fighting to outwit, outplay and outlast on Survivor: Edge of Extinction.
Wentworth was joined by Aubry Bracco from Survivor: Kaoh Rong and Survivor: Game Changers, David Wright from Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, and Joe Anglim from Survivor: Worlds Apart and Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance.
"Joe will have the hardest time, but he'll last a while; his record is undeniable," Probst continued in his predictions of how the game will turn out this season.
"Once you get to individual portion, people know they just can't risk it. David is the dark horse, the one people don't really understand... I would never vote these four early. They have too much experience."
As shown on the premiere of Survivor's 38th edition, the four returnees had a lot to offer the 14 newbie castaways, from making fire on Day 1 to leading the way when it came to properly building a shelter.

In addition, Anglim led his Kama tribe to victory in the season's first Immunity Challenge, which was basically a giant obstacle course.
"You'd be a fool to vote them out. They know how to play this game and they have the same goal as me: They don't want to be voted out. So I want you. You may find an idol first because you know. I'm willing to take that risk. To get rid of Kelley before I get rid of a weaker player? No. I could ride on Joe's back for weeks!" Probst reasoned with Us, thinking like a new player.

The debut episode of Survivor: Edge of Extinction concluded with Reem Daly getting voted out of her Manu tribe at Tribal Council and then opting to continue in the competition by traveling to Extinction Island by herself.
Daly must determine how long she can survive with limited resources, no shelter and tough weather conditions until she receives an opportunity to possibly re-enter the main game and resume playing for the $1 million.
