Survivor's Fall 2017 edition, which was once again filmed on the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, will feature three tribes -- each comprised of six castaways -- who possess similar characteristics that represent their profession or reputation, and how they are perceived by others.
The group of 18 castaways includes an Olympian, an NFL player, a bellhop, a diversity advocate, and a urologist.
Longtime Survivor host Jeff Probst introduced a preview video for Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers in late May.
The video, which aired during the reunion show for last season's Survivor: Game Changers, featured glimpses of some of the new castaways as well as an explanation of the significance behind each tribe's label.

"Heroes: They are heralded for their courage, their achievements, and ideals for which they stand," Jeff said.
"[Healers] receive gratitude for their acts of service in helping people heal their emotional and physical pain. [Hustlers] are respected for their work ethic -- 'Get it done, no matter what.' They stop at nothing to achieve their goals."
The three tribes will be called "Levu" (Heroes), "Soko" (Healers), and "Yawa" (Hustlers).
"Levu" will be comprised of Alan Ball, a 31-year-old NFL player from Detroit, MI who currently resides in Houston, TX; Ben Driebergen, a 34-year-old U.S. Marine from Boise, ID; John "JP" Hilsabeck, a 28-year-old firefighter from Los Angeles, CA; Chrissy Hofbeck, a 46-year-old financial analyst from Glen Gardner, NJ; Ashley Nolan, a 26-year-old lifeguard from Satellite Beach, FL; and Katrina Radke, a 46-year-old Olympian from Minneapolis, MN.
"Soko" will be made up of Jessica Johnston, a 29-year-old nurse practitioner from Cape Girardeau, MO who currently resides in Louisville, KY; Roark Luskin, a 27-year-old social worker from Palo Alto, CA who currently resides in Santa Monica, CA; Cole Medders, a 24-year-old wilderness therapy guide from Little Rock, AR; Joe Mena, a 34-year-old probation officer from Bronx, NY who currently resides in Tolland, CT; Desiree "Desi" Williams, a 27-year-old physical therapist from Peachtree City, GA who currently resides in Newport News, VA; and Mike Zahalsky, a 43-year-old urologist from Parkland, FL.
