Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers voted off Patrick Bolton during Wednesday night's episode on CBS.

Patrick, a 24-year-old small business owner from Lanett, AL who currently resides in Auburn, AL, was voted out of his Hustlers tribe called "Yawa" on Day 8 through a unanimous vote after the tribe finished in last place at the third Immunity Challenge of Season 35.
Patrick, however, cast his vote for Lauren Rimmer, a 35-year-old fisherman from Beaufort, NC.
"This is the worst thing I ever felt. I had no idea it was coming," Patrick said following his ouster.
"I had total trust with [Ryan Ulrich], [Devon Pinto] and [Ali Elliott]. I hope you guys don't have a very successful game because you're liars and it really hurts me that you would not keep your word. It's too early in the game for me to leave and this has been devastating."

"Yawa" is now comprised, going forward, of Lauren; Ali, a 24-year-old celebrity assistant from Eastvale, CA who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA; Devon, a 23-year-old surf instructor from Carlsbad, CA who currently resides in Solana Beach, CA; and Ryan, a 23-year-old bellhop from North Arlington, NJ.
"Levu," the Heroes tribe, is made up of Ashley Nolan, a 26-year-old lifeguard from Satellite Beach, FL; Alan Ball, a 31-year-old NFL player from Detroit, MI who currently resides in Houston, TX; Ben Driebergen, a 34-year-old U.S. Marine from Boise, ID; JP Hilsabeck, a 28-year-old firefighter from Los Angeles, CA; and Chrissy Hofbeck, a 46-year-old financial analyst from Glen Gardner, NJ.
"Soko," the Healers tribe, features Jessica Johnston, a 29-year-old nurse practitioner from Cape Girardeau, MO who currently resides in Louisville, KY; Roark Luskin, a 27-year-old social worker from Palo Alto, CA who currently resides in Santa Monica, CA; Cole Medders, a 24-year-old wilderness therapy guide from Little Rock, AR; Joe Mena, a 34-year-old probation officer from Bronx, NY who currently resides in Tolland, CT; Desi Williams, a 27-year-old physical therapist from Peachtree City, GA who currently resides in Newport News, VA; and Mike Zahalsky, a 43-year-old urologist from Parkland, FL.
The Survivor broadcast began on Day 7, with Patrick telling Ryan that he wanted Ali to stay in the game over Lauren. Ryan agreed that Ali was "the most relatable" player of the two and no one had much in common with Lauren, who was having a hard time feeling like she was included in the tribe.
Lauren told the cameras she's the only person in the tribe who has a child, so she felt like she was a high school teacher among a bunch of high school kids. Lauren, knowing she was on the chopping block, hoped to deflect the vote on to Patrick by reminding everyone how he had said he trusted most of his tribemates -- but not all of them -- at the previous Tribal Council session.

Lauren knew there was a possibility Patrick was just referring to Simone Nguyen when he said that, but she planned to use it against him anyways. Ali, however, knew Patrick brought a lot to competitions and worked hard around camp, so she felt she needed him and would hopefully stop rubbing other people the wrong way.
Over at the Heroes tribe that same day, Chrissy and Ben were feeling like they were in "the prime position" of their tribe together. Since they thought Ashley was fun and a hard worker, the pair agreed JP or Alan would be the next target -- JP, because he supposedly didn't have a clue, and Alan, because he was "a loose cannon" and "hothead."
Because JP was such a good provider for the tribe, Ashley admitted to the cameras he was looking "dreamier and dreamier" every single day.
Ashley wanted to get closer to JP but knew she couldn't because other castaways might view them as a power couple again. Since Alan had sparked that paranoia, Ashley wanted him gone. Otherwise, Ashley figured Alan would blow up her social game at the first opportunity.
Ben and Ashley then had a conversation about whom to go after next, and Ashley was rooting to keep JP, insisting that he could be their puppy going forward. But Ben feared a little bait danged in front of JP's face would sway him in a different direction and possibly with a different group come a swap or the merge.

Ben couldn't fully trust Ashley and worried she was still working with JP as a tight unit since she was so determined for him to stay.
Over at the Healers' camp on Day 7, life was good because they were clearly the dominant tribe winning challenge after challenge.
Joe said Mike was going to be the first person to go because everyone thought he had an idol. Joe also worried about Cole having knowledge of his own idol and was growing concerned about Cole's relationship with Jessica since they spent a lot of time together. Joe was starting to view Cole and Jessica as a pair, and the couple were also starting to view each other in that way.
Jessica and Cole definitely had a crush on each other. They loved fishing and talking, and Cole called Jessica his "dream girl" because he couldn't find one thing about her that he didn't like.
Jessica was a little nervous about a potential romance being a virgin who comes from a very religious background, but she was excited to take things slowly with Cole, and she blushed at the thought he was thinking about her. However, Jessica acknowledged getting really close to Cole could be dangerous for their games.

While talking on the beach, Cole guaranteed Jessica that she was safe and Mike didn't have the idol. Cole said he knew such information because he had found an idol with Joe. Jessica was so happy, knowing that secrets are very powerful in this game. She kissed Cole on the cheek as a "thank you," which was a big deal for her.
Speaking of an idol, Ryan thought Patrick went off searching for an idol one day at the Hustlers' camp, and Patrick wasn't exactly hiding his motive. Ali looked out for Patrick and wanted to help him mesh better with the group, but she was finding it increasingly more difficult. Ali and Patrick looked out for each other's best interests in the game, but Patrick wanted to feel like he could be himself.
On Day 8 at the Healers' tribe, Joe was upsetting his tribemates by complaining a lot, especially about the way food was being cooked. Cole realized Joe had all the power since he had an idol, and he didn't like that. Cole therefore talked to Jessica about making Joe feel comfortable about Mike being the target and then blindsiding Joe, sending him home with the idol in his pocket.
Jessica loved the idea but thought it was too soon for Cole to share that information with others. However, Cole did just that. Cole told Roark and Desi about his plan to split their votes between Joe and Mike, and the girls were totally onboard with the idea.
Cole explained to the girls that Joe was a bigger guy to feed and he didn't help much in challenges or when doing puzzles, and they agreed they didn't really need him to be successful. Meanwhile, Jessica was ticked off at Cole for "running his mouth" because she worried Joe would find out and then play his idol, leaving someone else's head on the chopping block.
It then became time for the three tribes to gather together and meet Survivor host Jeff Probst for an Immunity Challenge.
For the challenge, each tribe was required to race through a series of obstacles, use sandbags to knock blocks off a ledge, and then stack those blocks one on top of the other. The tribe to finish in first place would receive immunity as well as Reward in the form of four chickens, one rooster and three hens.
The tribe to finish in second place would be safe from Tribal Council as well and walk away with a dozen eggs, courtesy of the first-place chickens.
The Healers sat out Mike for this competition. Ben and JP worked together to throw the sandbags on behalf of the Heroes, while Cole and Joe also worked together for the Healers. Patrick, however, threw sandbags by himself and didn't allow anyone to help him or sub in for him once he got tired, so the Hustlers fell into last place.
Just when the Healers thought they had finished in first place, they realized they forgot a block over by the ledge, so the Heroes actually won this Immunity Challenge. And the Healers finished in second place.
Patrick told Jeff that his Hustlers tribe got along well and it was depressing to have to go back to Tribal Council again. But Lauren totally blamed Patrick for the loss, saying he was a one-man show and she would rather have lost as a team rather than because of one person.

Lauren also played center field in softball for 25 years, so she said she could hit a catcher in the forehead and would've done a fantastic job throwing the sandbags.
Once the tribe returned to camp, Patrick realized he had made a mistake, and Lauren said there was no way he could justify such behavior in the challenge -- even though Patrick apologized. Patrick thought, however, that allowing someone else to throw sandbags probably wouldn't have changed the outcome.
When Lauren went into the ocean, the tribe told Patrick that Lauren wanted him out but they all wanted Lauren out. Patrick felt comfortable, especially since he had Ali on his side. Lauren quickly discovered that Patrick was going to write her name down because he was a terrible liar, so she expected there was a good chance she might be going home.
Ali began thinking about whether keeping Patrick was really an advantage for her at the end of the day. Lauren then told Ryan that she trusted everyone except Patrick while trying to bond with him over him being an "oddball" and her being an "old lady."
Ryan and Devon felt they were in the power position. Ryan told Devon that he wanted to save Patrick and take the boys to the merge, but Devon pointed out that they should go with Lauren instead because she was steady and Patrick was unpredictable. Ryan thought Lauren didn't really fit in with the tribe and they'd be more likely to lose the next Immunity Challenge with Patrick gone.
At Tribal Council that night, Patrick took responsibility for his tribe's loss at the challenge.
But Ali defended her friend, saying that had Patrick not made an executive decision, it wouldn't necessarily mean the tribe would have been better off. Ali admitted that they could've done worse, trying to see the positive in things. When Ali made this comment, Lauren was shown wincing.
Lauren then called Patrick out for looking for the idol, implying he was untrustworthy and didn't work as a team player. Ryan told Jeff that someone in the tribe was influencing the group "in a negative way" because they weren't happy or successful.
Likewise, Devon wanted to improve tribal chemistry, and Lauren noted her vote was going to achieve the same purpose.
But Patrick thought he'd be useful come the merge because of his outgoing and fun personality. Patrick said he can make people feel loved and gets along with mostly everyone -- a comment which prompted Ali to point out that he didn't get along with Lauren. Ali suggested Patrick wasn't as good of a social player as he thought, and Patrick confessed that was a wake up call.
Patrick told Jeff that he welcomed criticism because he learned from it.
When talking about their chances come a swap or merge, Ryan announced that his tribe wasn't going to give up and would be the only group with genuine unity. Ryan joked that they'd enter the merge as people mopping the floor rather than the CEOs.

Jeff the revealed the votes in the following order: Lauren, Patrick, Patrick, and Patrick.
Patrick appeared pissed about the blindside, and on his way out, he said, "You guys are awful." Jeff believed Patrick's departure was going to be a rebirth for the Hustlers tribe.
