CBS Television Distribution has announced it has inked a deal with the Survivor host to develop his own daytime talk show, which will premiere in Fall 2012.
The new one-hour show will cover topics ranging from daily news to people facing challenges and not expected to interfere with Probst's Survivor hosting duties.
"I'm fascinated with human nature and thrilled that this show will allow me the opportunity to connect with real people and explore their stories on a personal level," Probst said in a statement.
"As I continue with Survivor, I am excited to extend my relationship with CBS with this new adventure in the world of daytime."

CBS Television Distribution's executives are thrilled to have Probst onboard for both his personality and passion.
"There's no one else in daytime TV like Jeff Probst. He is relatable to both women and men. Jeff's unique perspective and curiosity about human nature, combined with our track record of success is going to make this show a must buy. We are thrilled to be working on Jeff's next success story and drawing from his experience on the hit prime-time show Survivor," CTD president John Nogawski said in a statement.
"[Probst] has an instinct that makes him a natural and compelling host for daytime. Whether it's a newsmaker-of-the-day, a celebrity or ordinary folks, Jeff will go further than typical discussion. The show will cover a range of topics from relationships to human interest. And like Jeff, the show will encourage action, change and discovery. We are very fortunate to have him," CTD Programming president Aaron Meyerson added.
Probst has regularly filled in for Live with Regis & Kelly host Regis Philbin and was reportedly being considered as a potential replacement for Philbin, who is retiring from the morning talk show later this year.
However, Probst publicly removed himself from the running earlier this year, saying he had no desire to leave Los Angeles and move to New York City, where Live with Regis & Kelly films.

"I love the idea of doing a daytime show, but for me the big obstacle is location. I have an amazing life in California and moving to New York right now is just not in the cards," he told People in April.
