Survivor: Island of the Idols featured the Vokai tribe voting out Molly Byman after Kellee Kim earned herself an Immunity Idol from Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine during Wednesday night's Season 39 episode on CBS.

Molly, a 27-year-old law student from Boston, MA who currently resides in Durham, NC, was voted out by her Vokai tribe on Night 6 of the game in a 7-2-1 vote instead of Jason Linden, a 32-year-old personal injury lawyer from New York, NY, and Noura Salman, a 36-year-old entrepreneur from London, UK and Bethesda, MD who currently resides in North Potomac, MD.

Jason received two votes from his tribe, while Molly voted for Noura.

"I'm stunned, hurt and frankly dizzy from this blindside. I have seen so many blindsides in Survivor, and I'm always like, 'How do they not know?!' And I really did not know," Molly said following her ouster.

"I'm not sure exactly where I went wrong or what happened or how this tide turned. I guess I got cocky and I've been humbled."

Survivor: Island of the Idols - Night 3

The Survivor broadcast began on Night 3 at the Lairo tribe after Ronnie Bardah was voted out.

The Lairo tribe was comprised of Vince Moua, a 27-year-old admissions counselor from Merced, CA, who currently resides in Palo Alto, CA; Elizabeth Beisel, a 26-year-old Olympic medalist from Saunderstown, RI; Missy Byrd, a 24-year-old Air Force veteran from Decatur, GA, who currently resides in Tacoma, WA; Dean Kowalski, a 28-year-old tech salesman from Westfield, NJ, who currently resides in New York, NY; Tom Laidlaw, a 60-year-old former NHL hockey player from Ontario, Canada, who currently resides in Greenwich, CT; Aaron Meredith, a 36-year-old gym owner from Uncasville, CT, who currently resides in Warwick, RI; Karishma Patel, a 37-year-old personal injury lawyer from Philadelphia, PA, who currently resides in Houston, TX; Elaine Stott, a 41-year-old factory worker from Woodbine, KY, who currently resides in Rockholds, KY; and Chelsea Walker, a 26-year-old digital content creator from Marlton, NJ, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Aaron was angry because he had been out of the loop on the first vote, and Vince was also wondering why his name had been written down. Vince flat out asked his tribe if they viewed him as weak or something, but Elaine blamed that on Ronnie.

Missy said the all-female alliance was in control at this point, but she still wanted to work with Aaron and so she attempted to calm him down. Missy acknowledged Aaron deserved to be mad, but she insisted he needed to stay or else their tribe would lose challenges and ultimately the game.

"Everybody's saying the right things, but I don't trust anybody -- at all. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, that's not going to happen. And unfortunately for them, their day will come," Aaron said in a confessional.

Survivor: Island of the Idols - Day 4

On Day 4 at the Vokai tribe, tension was heightening between tribemates.

The Vokai tribe was made up of Molly; Jason; Noura; Kellee, a 29-year-old MBA student from Costa Mesa, CA, who currently resides in Philadelphia, PA; Lauren Beck, a 28-year-old nanny from Bakersfield, CA, and Rochester Hills, MI, who currently resides in Glendale, CA; Molly Byman, a 27-year-old law student from Boston, MA, who currently resides in Durham, NC; Janet Carbin, a 59-year-old chief lifeguard from Neptune, NJ, who currently resides in Palm Bay, FL; Jack Nichting, a 23-year-old graduate student from Newport News, VA, who currently resides in Harrisonburg, VA; Tommy Sheehan, a 26-year-old 4th grade teacher from Bayville, NY, who currently resides in Long Beach, NY; Jamal Shipman, a 33-year-old college administrator from Jersey City, NJ, who currently resides in Providence, RI; and Dan Spilo, a 48-year-old talent manager from New York, NY, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Noura was complaining about people sleeping when work needed to be done. She called her tribemates lazy, and Molly said as each day passed, it became harder to be around Noura because she was "annoying."

Noura said it wasn't fair when people chilled and Molly did "nothing."

"She's that catty girl in high school that's, like, popular and pretty and that all the guys like, but you, as a girl, can see through it," Noura vented.

"She's so sneaky. Molly is not that strong or helpful around camp. She's... put together and knows how to talk and charm, and it's like, 'Whoa, that's how she's gaining everyone over. She's dangerous."

People's real personalities were starting to show through now that the conditions were starting to take affect and exhaustion and hunger were kicking in. No one was being polite anymore.

Jason told the cameras he and Noura were "on the outs" and they were friends, so he felt like he owed her something since she had previously taken him under her wing. Noura felt they were the misfits and nerds, while everyone else wanted to fit in with the popular group.

Noura told Jason that Molly was the glue between Jamal and Jack.

Meanwhile, Noura was throwing Noura's name out there.

Over at Lairo's camp on Night 4, the tribe was struggling to make fire, but then Chelsea started one within seconds. Chelsea was so proud of herself and her girls, who supposedly had the numbers.

While Chelsea was out looking for firewood, she stumbled across a hidden Immunity Idol hidden within a tree trunk. As a Super Fan, Chelsea was so excited but also so scared. She raved about how the women were succeeding in the game more than the men.

Survivor: Island of the Idols - Day 5

At Vokai's camp on Day 5, a man in a boat dropped off a scroll to the beach. The scroll revealed Kellee must get on a boat and head to the Island of the Idols. She was told, however, she'd return to camp by the end of the day.

Kellee was in shock and freaking out. She was ready to "assume nothing and think outside the box."

When Kellee arrived to the Island of the Idols, she wondered if former Survivor winner John Cochran was going to pop out of the bushes, or whether there would be a few urns she had to smash.

But then Rob and Sandra greeted Kellee, and she was blown away by their presence. Rob explained he and Sandra were not competing in the game and could not vote.

"Our job is to mentor you in the game of Survivor and then offer you a chance to test what you've learned," Rob explained to Kellee.

Kellee revealed to Rob and Sandra she went to Harvard for undergrad and has a boyfriend. She chatted with the mentors about life, and Rob explained he had attended Boston University and more. Sandra also said she has four dogs, four Pomeranians.

Kellee was overwhelmed and didn't understand what was happening as Rob and Sandra chatted with her, but it was all about to make sense soon.

"In the game of Survivor, you always have to pay attention. It's a critical skill," Rob said.

"Kellee, I think she was more trying to get her bearings about what Island of the Idols was, when she should've been focusing on what we're telling her, because she didn't know it was going to be her lesson," Sandra explained to the cameras.

Rob told Kellee that her lesson started the minute she had arrived on the beach. Rob said forming relationships based on listening and paying attention is important in this game, and Sandra added that conversations build bonds and trust.

"The question is: How well were you paying attention to us?" Rob asked.

Kellee earns an immunity idol

Kellee had a chance to earn an advantage by testing how well she was listening to her mentors. She had to answer five questions pertaining to information Rob and Sandra had told her about themselves. If she got four correct, she'd earn an Immunity Idol good at the next two Tribal Councils she'd attend.

But if Kellee lost, she'd lose her vote at the next Tribal Council.

"I don't know, let me think about it," Kellee said, before revealing to the cameras she has "a terrible memory" and wasn't paying attention because she had been freaking out inside.

However, Rob chose to sweeten the deal, telling Kellee she only had to answer three of the five questions correct and her idol would be good at the next three Tribal Council sessions.

It was a huge risk to take, but Kellee opted to play, saying, "YOLO!"

Kellee answered her first three questions correctly, and then she received an idol. Kellee immediately broke down into tears, which she admitted was not a normal reaction. Kellee apparently fears failure and had just felt so much pressure in that moment.

Kellee then selected a person from the other tribe to visit the Island of the Idols.

"Kellee went to Harvard, so she's pretty smart. She was pretty analytical from the second she walked into Island of the Idols. She definitely possesses skills that are needed in this game to win, and her tribemates will make a mistake by underestimating her," Rob told the cameras.

Kellee was terrified upon returning to camp. On impulse, she burst into tears and started crying. She told her tribemates about the two giant statues and said she had to break open three urns but it said, "No game."

Kellee told her tribemates she was paranoid about them not believing her, so she asked them to search through her clothes and her belongings. Kellee, however, had her idol hiding within her hair in her bun -- and nobody discovered it.

Survivor: Island of the Idols - Day 6

On Day 6, the two tribes gathered and met Survivor host Jeff Probst for an Immunity Challenge.

The Immunity Challenge required each tribe to swim out and release a ladder from the ocean floor, use the ladder to retrieve a bag of balls, race to the finish and then land those balls in three targets.

The first tribe to finish would win immunity and be safe from the vote. The tribes were also playing for Reward in the form of spices for their food.

Vokai chose to sit out Lauren in order to even up the numbers.

It was a close call, but in the end, Lairo won the challenge. Tommy said his whole tribe was onboard with voting out either Noura or Jason, saying it was every man for himself.

On Day 6, the Vokai tribe was trying to get over their first loss of the season. Noura said it was "a bummer" and asked the guys in her tribe to keep her over Jason. She was well aware she was on the chopping block.

Jamal thought the vote was straightforward because Noura and Jason were on the outs. Jamal also noted Jason had searched for a hidden Immunity Idol earlier in the game, and he had an alliance with Molly and Jack, which he thought was unsuspecting and under the radar.

Molly added that Noura was "the smart vote" as well as "the easy vote" because she was "erratic."

Jamal, Jack and Molly were impressed with themselves and thought they were handling things well, but several of the ladies -- Lauren, Kellee, and Janet -- gathered together and discussed Molly becoming the target instead.

Janet noted that Molly was "a really smart player" and seemed to have "the men in the palm of her hand." The women feared Molly had a lot of power, and so Lauren pitched the idea of taking her out now.

Lauren wasn't going to let Molly's game play her, and she said it was obvious which three people were running the game. Lauren knew she could use Noura and Jason going forward because they both wanted to be saved.

"Revenge of the nerds is happening right now," Noura happily told Jason after hearing the news.

"The freaks and geeks!" Jason yelled.

Jason didn't want to give his hopes up, but he couldn't believe the tables had turned and people were targeting Molly.

Janet then asked Tommy to vote for Molly, but he said he had Jack and Jamal in his back pocket. He thought it was a little too early to make this move, because if he went through with it, he'd lose two of his closest allies.

Tommy told Kellee he would vote the same way as she was planning to, so they had a tough decision to make. He seemed to be a swing vote because Janet needed everyone onboard to make this move happen.

Molly is voted off at Tribal Council

The Vokai tribe then headed to Tribal Council, and Jason announced he was on the outside of the tribe due to paranoia. Jason said the theme of Island of the Idols was preying on people's paranoia.

Tommy announced an easy vote could be made that night, but then Jason assured his tribemates he had no hidden Immunity Idol and one would not be played.

Molly said no one felt like Jason was "in purgatory" in the game and everyone had enjoyed getting to know him. Molly therefore felt offended by Jason's claim he had been so left out of the tribe.

Noura also told Jeff that she didn't really fit in, which brought up insecurities from her past.

"I think the people playing this game are a little level smarter than, 'Who's irritating me today?' You have to think about all those other moves that take you further in the game, you know, 'What happens after they leave?'" Dan announced.

"So I think this is going to be more of a chess play than a checkers play at the end of the day."

Jamal insisted the tribe was in first gear and Survivor was "a slow burn," but Jason pointed out Jamal went to Tribal Council without his bags and so he was clearly playing the game at a faster speed.

Jamal told Jason that he was playing from the bottom "in a picture perfect way," but that's not the game he had to play right now.

Lauren then argued the game was in fourth gear and moving faster than some people clearly thought.

It then became time to vote, and when Noura cast her vote, she apologized for ending Molly's reign as queen.

Jeff subsequently read the votes aloud in the following order after no one played an idol: Jason, Noura, Molly, Jason, Molly, Molly, Molly, and Molly.

Molly's mouth dropped open as the votes were being read, so she, Jack and Jamal were clearly blindsided.

"Dang, they played her ass!" Sandra whispered while watching the events unfold.

Molly wished her tribe good luck on her way out, and Jeff pointed out the tribe was definitely not in first gear.

The episode's closing credits later showed that Molly voted for Noura, Jack and Jamal voted for Jason, and the remaining seven people in the tribe voted to oust Molly from Survivor: Island of the Idols.
