CBS has revealed the identities of the castaways who will be fighting for $1 million on Season 33, which premieres with a special 90-minute episode on Wednesday, September 21 from 8-9:30PM ET/PT.

Survivor will then resume airing in its usual timeslot of 8-9PM ET/PT beginning on Wednesday, September 28.

The fall edition of Survivor, filmed in Fiji and hosted by Jeff Probst, will feature two tribes, each comprised of 10 castaways, who possess similar characteristics that represent their generation.

Millennials, the largest living generational group and most diverse in U.S. history, grew up in a time of rapid change and are often described as having different priorities from previous generations.

"How will this group fare without technology on the island? Will they opt for shortcuts in challenges or go the distance?" teased the network.

As shown in the season's promo video that aired during Survivor: Kaoh Rong's live reunion show, the Millennials appear to largely be 20-something's who are criticized for their perceived laziness and self-entitlement. However, they seem to pride themselves on being creative, social and free.

Meanwhile, Generation X -- which appears to cover people from the ages of 30 to 55, who are younger than the Baby Boomers generation -- have the reputation of being battle-tested, but the experienced individuals are mocked by the younger generation for being uptight, condescending and regimented.

"Generation X... has been collectively labeled as hard-working and independent people. Will they be able to find some commonalities with the younger castaways or stick to their own group? Will their differences and preconceived beliefs be too much to overcome?" teased CBS.

This season's cast will include a youth pastor, an assistant district attorney, a police sergeant, a television writer, a professional gamer and a high school student, who is the youngest player to ever compete in the game.

Which generation will have what it takes to outwit, outplay and outlast?

Below are the 20 Survivor: Millennials vs Gen. X castaways and their respective tribes:
