The final ratings results are in for the Sunday, December 14 finale of Survivor: Pearl Islands, and, as expected, the program dominated the evening, drawing over 25 million viewers and hitting ratings highs not seen since the May 2002 finale of the Survivor: Marquesas.

The episode was the most watched and best delivery in adults 25-54 for a Survivor finale since Survivor: Marquesas (on May, 19 2002) and best Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 demographic finale delivery since Survivor: Thailand (on December 19, 2002). The Survivor finale was so dominant that it easily topped the combined delivery of NBC, ABC and FOX in viewers (25.23m vs. 25.07m), adults 25-54 (11.4/23 vs. 10.6/19) and adults 18-49 (9.7/22 vs. 8.8/20) during the 8-10PM ET time period.
Following after the two-hour finale at 10 PM ET, Survivor Pearl Islands: The Reunion draw 21.87 million viewers and also won its time period in households (11.5/18), adults 25-54 (10.5/22), women 25-54 (11.6/24), men 25-54 (9.3/20), adults 18-49 (9.2/21) and adults 18-34 (7.1/19). Survivor Pearl Islands: The Reunion easily topped NBC and ABC combined by +58% in adults 18-34 (7.1/19 vs. 4.5/12), +59% in adults 18-49 (9.2/21 vs. 5.8/14) and +46% in adults 25-54 (10.5/22 vs. 7.2/15) and by +2.32m viewers (21.87m vs. 19.55m)
Survivor Pearl Islands: The Reunion retained a remarkable 96% of its finale lead-in in adults 18-34 (7.1/19 from 7.4/19) and 95% of its adults 18-49 (9.2/21 from 9.7/22). The program was the most watched Reunion show since the Survivor: The Australian Outback aired way back on May 3, 2001.
