Survivor featured Sabiyah Broderick sacrificing her vote for a more powerful hidden Immunity Idol, which resulted in her "Lulu Tribe" voting her out at Tribal Council during the Season 45 episode that aired Wednesday night on CBS.

Sabiyah, a 28-year-old truck driver from Locust Grove, GA, who currently resides in Jacksonville, NC, was voted out of Survivor 45 in a 2-1 vote at Tribal Council on Night 7 of the game when she was convinced the tribe was targeting Kaleb Gebrewold, a 29-year-old in software sales from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, who currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.

"Even though I got blindsided, you blindside the best players," Sabiyah said in her final words.

"You blindside the people that you're afraid of, so it's good to know that they were scared and they did what they had to do. So, they got me tonight, I'm not going to lie!"

The Survivor broadcast began following Brandon Donlon's elimination at Lulu camp on Night 5.

The "Lulu Tribe," wearing yellow, was made up of Sabiyah, Kaleb; Emily Flippen, a 28-year-old investment analyst from McKinney, TX, who currently resides in Laurel, MD; and Sean Edwards, a 35-year-old school principal from Lawrence, NJ, who currently resides in Provo-Orem, UT.

Emily thanked her Survivor tribemates for saving her and expressed her appreciation.

Sabiyah told the cameras that she liked Emily, even though they're very different people who come from different worlds, and so she returned Emily's "Shot in the Dark" to her to solidify trust. Sabiyah hoped they could continue in the game as a strong four.

But "the real Emily" was still bubbling underneath the surface, according to Kaleb.

Emily noticed that Survivor host Jeff Probst had read her vote at Tribal Council along with a second vote.

Knowing that Brandon did not have a vote, Emily said there should have been four total votes. Emily therefore wondered if only three votes had been cast, and so she asked Sabiyah if she had lost her vote.

Sabiyah acknowledged how Emily was right in the fact she couldn't vote because of the "Beware Advantage." Since Emily is very smart, Sabiyah said Emily would always be on her radar.

"Emily cracked again tonight... She immediately picked a fight with the one person she's not supposed to pick a fight with!" Kaleb said in a confessional, adding however, that Emily was getting better and she'd have a home with him going forward.

At Belo, on Day 6, the Survivor tribe was trying to restart their fire.

The "Belo Tribe, wearing blue," was comprised of Brandon "Brando" Meyer, a 23-year-old software developer from Oak Park, CA, who currently resides in Seattle, WA; Bruce Perreault, a 47-year-old insurance agent from West Warwick, RI; Jake O'Kane, a 26-year-old attorney from Hanson, MA, who currently resides in Boston, MA; Katurah Topps, a 35-year-old civil rights attorney from St. Louis, MO, who currently resides in Brooklyn, NY; Kellie Nalbandian, a 30-year-old critical care nurse from Weston, CT, who currently resides in New York, NY; and Kendra McQuarrie, a 31-year-old bartender from Haverhill, MA, who currently resides in Steamboat Springs, CO.

While blowing the fire's embers, Jake suddenly fell over and his body went into startling spasms.

Kendra saw the Survivor incident and thought it was really scary.

"I started seeing stars and my hand was shaking and everything. My body was convulsing and I may have fallen over. I don't really know," Jake told the cameras. "There is constant heat, constant dehydration, and a lack of food. It's going to take a toll on your body!"

Kendra then pointed out how Jake seemed to be "boys" with the other Belo guys, but Jake assured Kendra that he was "boys" with her.

Kendra admitted to Jake the girls had mentioned his name at the beginning of the game when they found out he's a lawyer. Kendra found herself feeling protective over Jake, and she wanted to be honest with him so they could maybe team up in the Survivor game.

Up until this point, it had essentially been men vs. women on this Survivor tribe.

But Kendra said she and Jake communicated well and he's an easygoing person. She thought they balanced each other out, and so she told the cameras, "Jake could be a good ally!"

At the Reba camp on Day 6, the Survivor tribe seemed pretty starving.

Survivor's "Reba Tribe," wearing red, featured Austin Li Coon, a 26-year-old graduate student from San Jose, CA, who currently resides in Chicago, IL; Dee Valladares, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Havana, Cuba, who currently resides in Miami, FL; Drew Basile, a 23-year-old graduate student from Birmingham, MI, who currently resides in Philadelphia, PA; Janani "J. Maya" Krishnan-Jha, a 24-year-old singer from San Francisco, CA, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA; Julie Alley, a 49-year-old estate attorney from Brentwood, TN; and Nicholas "Sifu" Alsup, a 30-year-old gym owner from O'Fallon, IL.

Austin was frustrated because he couldn't find an opportunity to leave camp alone in order to dig at the fallen palm tree for his Survivor hidden Immunity Idol.

Only Drew knew about Austin's "Beware Advantage" and clue, and so the men went looking for it together.

Meanwhile, Dee was onto Austin and Drew. She assumed they had some type of advantage because they were frequently whispering and running off together.

Dee had a Survivor alliance with Julie, Austin and Drew, but she began questioning the men's loyalty.

Suddenly, Dee and Julie caught Drew digging by a palm tree. His back was towards them and so he couldn't see that they were close to him.

The girls knew exactly what Drew was doing, and he was caught with his pants down.

Drew therefore attempted to do some "damage control" by telling the women that they had suspicion there was "something over here." Drew claimed he had seen Austin digging at one point until he gave up.

Dee asked the men to be honest with her and Julie. She wanted them to "come together" to play Survivor, and Austin promised them that they were "four strong" and that he and Drew hadn't discovered anything yet.

"My intuition tells me that something was off between the two of them," Dee said in a confessional. "Drew is uneasy... and there is something going on!"

Dee said it felt like she had a boyfriend and she caught him cheating on her, which was upsetting.

On Day 6, the three Survivor tribes gathered and met Jeff for a Reward Challenge.

Jeff instructed each tribe to start in the ocean and race to the beach, where, one at a time, each player would toss a ball into an overhead track and then try to catch it at the other end. Once all four players achieved this, a person would throw one of the balls into a basket, raising a series of targets. Two players would then race to land three rings on their targets.

The first two tribes to land all three rings would win Reward in the form of fruit. The winning tribe would receive a large fruit platter, while the second tribe to finish would receive a smaller -- but still appetizing -- platter.

In addition, the winning tribe would earn the right to send one person to either of the two other tribes for a Survivor "camp raid," where he or she would get to steal one item in a game where there is very little to steal.

"You can inflict some punishment. You can also visit and see the tribe dynamic," Jeff explained.

Belo decided to sit out Bruce and Jake, and Reba opted to sit out Julie and Drew.

In the end, Lulu won the challenge, and they were ecstatic to finally have a Survivor win under their belts.

Kaleb volunteered to raid another tribe, and Emily announced how it made sense because Kaleb was "the most social player" amongst them all. She thought he'd be perfect for this type of job.

On his way to another tribe, the Reba tribe, Kaleb stumbled across a Survivor script waiting for him on a boat that was in the sand.

"In addition to stealing one item from the tribe, you also have an opportunity to forge a secret relationship with another player. You must give this Goodwill Advantage to one player," Kaleb read from the script. "This Advantage allows them to restore one lost vote. Good luck."

The Survivor Advantage meant that if someone lost his or her vote, that player would retain the vote and cancel out that loss at the next Tribal Council session.

Once Kaleb made his way to Reba, Drew said he knew that's the person whom Lulu was going to send to "shmooze" them because he's a salesman and pretty charismatic guy.

Kaleb grabbed the fishing gear. While he was able to take the entire set, he decided to leave them the spear.

Kaleb then asked to speak with the Reba castaways individually so he could get to know them better and receive information. In the process, he was trying to determine whom he should work with on Survivor.

When speaking to Drew, Drew revealed he had received an Advantage on his journey, and so Kaleb decided to open up to him about the Goodwill Advantage and give it to him. Kaleb thought no one would see their alliance coming, and Drew was thrilled because he could give it to his buddy Austin, who had lost his vote.

Drew shared the news of his Goodwill Advantage with Austin, Dee and Julie in order to keep their bond tight. Austin was so pleased to have that protection if he couldn't find his buried idol.

Over at the Lulu camp, the Survivor tribemates were celebrating their victory, and Sean thought they had the ingredients to win in the future. Sean noticed that Emily was more likeable and easy to be around.

Sabiyah then spoke to Sean about how she didn't want to go to the end with Kaleb because he's a threat and very eloquent speaker. Sean worried it may be too early to take out such a strong tribemate, but Sabiyah said it would make sense to knock him out now -- before people they didn't know got involved at the merge.

"Kaleb is a beast. He is the biggest threat on this beach. I still don't have my vote," Sabiyah explained in a confessional. "So it's very important to get Emily to vote Kaleb out."

Emily agreed to vote out Kaleb, and Emily was shocked by the revelation. She thought they had been a strong threesome on Survivor for a while.

Emily was a little torn about what to do because Kaleb had been very nice to her, but she was also well aware he's a strong social player. Emily thought Kaleb was blissfully unaware of the fact he was coming across like a big social threat.

Meanwhile, Kendra shared with the women, Kellie and Katurah, on her tribe how she had formed a friendship with Jake. Katurah wanted Bruce gone from Survivor, and then Kellie talked to her "No. 1," Brando. Kellie knew she and Brando could join either side on this vote, and she'd eventually have to piss off some people.

Over at the Reba tribe, Austin came "80 percent clean" about his Beware Advantage. Dee said the guys probably wouldn't have told Julie and herself about the advantage had they not gotten caught, but she was at least happy to be in the loop.

The group then worked together to try to find the Survivor idol. One person babysat Sifu and J. Maya while the other three searched.

Dee found a rope underneath the palm tree, and so she and Julie -- who was by her side -- began pulling it. At the end of the rope was a hammer, which had the following statement written on it: "Break a rock near water well."

Dee and Julie hid the Survivor scroll as J. Maya was approaching them in the jungle.

Julie then handed the hammer to Austin, and he began smashing rocks near the well. Finally, he discovered the hidden Immunity Idol, and he and Drew hugged each other and jumped in the air.

Austin read his Survivor scroll, but it informed him that the idol was only good for one Tribal Council.

"Are you kidding me?!" Austin lamented.

However, Austin learned that if he sacrificed his vote at Tribal Council, the idol would extend until all players are on the same beach together. If Austin sacrificed his second vote, he'd gain even more power -- the opportunity to use the idol until only five players were left in the game.

This hidden Immunity Idol was clearly new to Survivor because it was conditional.

Austin then thanked Dee and Julie for finding the hammer and giving it to him. Now, trust was truly solidified, and Dee said she felt much better about her alliance going forward.

On Day 7 of Survivor 45, the three tribes competing in their next Immunity Challenge of the season.

The challenge required each tribe to race out with a cart and release two keys, which would then release very heavy puzzle pieces they must put on their cart. A tribe must then take its cart apart, get it through a barricade, and then reassemble it.

Once a tribe reached the end, one person would be "the caller" while the rest of the group would work together to solve a massive cube puzzle.

The first two tribes to finish would win immunity and be safe from the vote. The losing tribe must vote the third player out of Survivor 45, and as a penalty for losing, Jeff would take their flint away.

Julie and Dee sat out of this Survivor challenge for Reba, and Brando and Kellie sat out for Belo.

Reba won immunity and Belo finished in second place. Lulu would therefore be attending Tribal Council for the third time this season. Despair hit all of the Lulu castaways, and Sabiyah even started crying.

After the challenge, Kaleb determined that he, Sabiyah and Sean should vote out Emily, who was very nervous about how the vote was going to play out.

Sabiyah told Kaleb that he could tell Emily he was voting out Sabiyah, while Sabiyah would tell Emily that she was voting out Kaleb.

"It's got to be Kaleb tonight, so I'm letting him believe that he's running the show tonight," Sabiyah told the cameras. "If he even smells that I feel a different way, or that Sean feels a different way, he could vote for me! I don't have a vote, and he could tell Emily to vote for me."

Sabiyah asked Kaleb to drag Tribal Council out so that she could melt her idol in the fire in the middle. Sabiyah vented about how she needed that idol so her vote could be reactivated that evening.

While Kaleb was gone, Sabiyah let Emily know that she was going to melt the wax surrounding her idol at Tribal Council. Sabiyah hoped this would cement Emily's vote in her favor, but Emily realized Sabiyah hadn't been totally honest and truthful with her up to this point.

"Kaleb has actually been willing to work with me, and so I need to do everything in my power to keep him here. But Kaleb doesn't realize it's him," Emily explained.

Emily therefore warned Kaleb that he must write Sabiyah's name down at Tribal Council or else he'd be going home. Emily insisted that she was trying to save Kaleb's ass, but he didn't 100 percent believe her.

"Sabiyah's plan was to tell Emily to vote me out tonight, and I really do believe that Sabiyah and Sean want to work with me. So even though I absolutely am a possibility of going home tonight, I don't think that's how it's going to go," Kaleb explained in a confessional.

Kaleb had two options in front of him: riding with his alliance to take out Emily or flipping the script and writing Sabiyah's name down.

At Tribal Council that night, Sabiyah put her waxed idol into the fire, and Jeff noted how it was "a Survivor cookout."

Emily suggested to Jeff that Emily was still on the outside of the strong three, but Kaleb expressed fear that Emily may have painted him as a target to the others.

Sabiyah then finally got her idol and put it in her pocket. While casting her vote, Sabiyah discovered that her idol was just like Austin's idol in that it was conditional.

"I know that Emily and Sean are voting Kaleb, and Kaleb is voting Emily. So if I don't vote, I get the idol until the merge, which is huge," Sabiyah whispered to the cameras at the voting booth.

It wasn't immediately shown whether Sabiyah risked her vote for a more powerful idol or not.

After each castaway voted, Jeff read the votes aloud in the following order: Sabiyah, Kaleb, and Sabiyah.

Sabiyah's mouth dropped open, and she said, "Wow. Wow."

Emily and Kaleb smiled at each other, and Sabiyah announced, "I didn't think I'd be here this early, Jeff, not going to lie."

The tribe shouted "Lulu" at each other on Sabiyah's way out, and Kaleb and Emily appeared relieved.

"I didn't vote because I just didn't think I needed to! I mean, after all the conversations that I had, I was sure it was Kaleb going home," Sabiyah said in her final words.

The episode's closing credits showed that Sean voted for Kaleb, while Emily and Kaleb voted for Sabiyah.

Had Sabiyah not risked her vote and voted for Kaleb, it would've been a tie.
