CBS has announced Survivor, the long-running reality competition series that is currently airing its 34th season, has been renewed for the 2017-2018 season.

The news came as part of the network's announcement of early renewals for a total of 18 returning series for 2017-2018.

CBS is currently airing Survivor: Game Changers on Wednesday nights from 8-9PM ET/PT. The series is hosted by Jeff Probst.

Survivor: Game Changers began with 20 veteran castaways -- who have made some of the biggest moves in the history of the game -- divided into two tribes, Mana and Nuku, each comprised of 10 players. Some of the returnees have even won Survivor before.

The latest season, which currently features three tribes after an early tribal swap, was filmed in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji in June and July 2016.

In addition to Survivor, CBS also announced early renewals for The Big Bang Theory, Blue Bloods, Bull, Hawaii Five-O, Kevin Can Wait, Life In Pieces, MacGyver, Madam Secretary, Man with a Plan, Mom, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion, Superior Donuts, 48 Hours, and 60 Minutes.

Additional returning series pick-ups for next season will be announced at a later date.
