Survivor alum Parvati Shallow has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband John Fincher after she accused him of being "physically and verbally aggressive" towards her on multiple occasions.

Parvati, a four-time Survivor castaway and one-time winner, filed for divorce from John, a former Survivor: Samoa castaway, on August 24, and then on Friday, August 27, Parvati requested a restraining order to keep John at least 100 yards away from her and their three-year-old daughter, Ama, at all times, People reported.

In the court documents filed Friday, Parvati, 38, reportedly asked that John not be able to contact her "in any way" or "harass, attack, strike, threaten, assault" her. She also requested John attend anger-management classes for his alleged aggressive behavior.

A judge has since granted Parvati a temporary restraining order, which will expire or be extended on September 20 when she and John have a court hearing scheduled.

John, 38, is therefore required to move out of his home with Parvati and stay at least 100 yards away from her house, car and workplace. He was also denied visitation with Ama for now, according to the magazine.

For the time being, John will not be forced to formally address his alleged anger management issues.

In their Friday filings, Parvati and John documented drastically different accounts to the court about a specific domestic incident, an argument that had taken place on August 20 at a friend's house.

The pair said they were arguing over whether Ama should sleep at the friend's home that evening and Parvati reportedly wrote in the filing that John told her, "I don't care about you. I hope you kill yourself. You can walk into traffic. You can jump off a cliff. I hope you put a gun in your mouth and blow your brains out."

Parvati alleged that her husband made her feel scared and unsafe when rage overwhelmed him, and she said he crossed a line, especially when she allegedly saw John "try to grab Ama" as she "wriggled away" from him due to her desire to stay at the friend's house.

As Parvati attempted to record John's behavior on her phone with Ama "less than one foot away" from her, she claimed her husband "lunged" at her, adding, "[John] grabbed my arm and wrestled my phone out of my hands and made a dash to the door."

Parvati said she called the police and authorities handcuffed John once they responded but did not arrest him. Parvati said she "did not want [John] to go to jail" since he's currently undergoing cancer treatments.

"John has acted in a similar manner in the past when there is no one else around to act as a buffer," Parvati alleged, according to People.

"There has been no escape for me when I am at home with him and he has these violent outbursts. I am so afraid for Ama's physical and emotional well-being given she hears and witnesses her dad screaming and being physically violent towards me."

John, however, had asked the court to deny Parvati's request for a restraining order when giving his own account of the events that unfolded on August 20.

In his response to Parvati's filing, John claimed the couple's argument only lasted for a few minutes and both individuals are at fault for raising their voices.

"Parvati was sitting on a couch during the argument. I was standing. At the end of the argument, I walked over to the couch where Parvati was sitting. I reached forward and grabbed Parvati's phone which was on the couch," John reportedly wrote.

"Parvati swung her arms and hands at me when I picked up her phone. Parvati hands touched my arm and my torso. I grabbed the phone and walked away, toward the front door of the house."

John also said he never unlocked Parvati's phone -- and that he placed the phone down on a table before walking away from the dispute.

"I heard Parvati say that she was calling the police," John continued, alleging that authorities "made no instructions" to him when they arrived on the scene and did not direct him to do anything.

"I did not hit, kick, push or in any other way have any physical contact with Parvati at any time on August, 20, 2021," John insisted in the filing.

John had also reportedly requested he "be given the opportunity to have a hearing regarding the custody and visitation orders." He had hoped for a temporary joint custody agreement for Ama.

Parvati reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from John when she filed for divorce last week.

Parvati and John tied the knot in July 2017 after getting engaged in January of that year following about three years of dating.

Parvati initially auditioned to compete on The Amazing Race, and although she didn't make the cut for a season, CBS producers reportedly remembered her and then cast her on Survivor: Cook Islands.

After placing sixth on Survivor: Cook Islands, Parvati went on to win Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites, which aired in 2008.

She later competed on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains and finished as the runner-up.

Parvati once again returned to compete on the show's 40th season, Survivor: Winners at War.

On Winners at War, an All-Stars season of veteran players, Parvati was voted out in Episode 6, becoming the seventh person sent to the Edge of Extinction from the season.

She failed to win a spot back in the game on Day 35 and subsequently served as a member of the jury.

For John's part, he appeared on Survivor: Samoa, which aired in 2009, and was the twelfth person voted out of the game.
