Team Bruno assumed there would be good things to come after winning ABC's Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann reality series, however the grand prize of a Hollywood Records recording contract apparently had a few catches.

Team Bruno's four members -- Kelsey Bourg, Phillip Bernier, Lacey Mason and Zack Wilson -- did record three singles that were released by iTunes following the show's February finale, but little else has come from their victory.

"I don't think Hollywood Records has any plans to record anything else," Wilson told The New York Post in a Thursday report.  "It's a little disappointing."

While the singing and dancing group may have been led by Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli during the six-episode ABC reality series, he told The Post he has little to do with his squad moving forward.

"It's the record company's option," Tonioli told The Post.  "I don't manage them."

Despite his group's fate ultimately being out of his hands, Tonioli echoed Wilson's disappointment and also offered a reason why it never took off.

"We should have gone on tour right away," he told The Post.  "But we didn't really have the time to put it together."

Tonioli said ABC is "talking about doing another season, not this year, but next year," according to The Post. 

However Dance War has initially been left off both ABC's Fall 2008 primetime programming lineup and the network's 2008-2009 mideseason programming schedule. Still, Tonioli said should the show be renewed, the winners will hopefully find success.

"Now we know that we have to set the tour up from the beginning," opined Tonioli to The Post.

Although she may have lost to Tonioli's team, fellow Dance War mentor Carrie Ann Inaba has continued to play an active role with her group's members -- Marquis "Qis" Walker, Bradley Johnson, Mariel Sarangay, Elizabeth Huett and Chris Holyfield.

"I've been meeting with my kids pretty much every week since the show ended," she told The Post. "We talk about opportunities that come up, how their careers are going."

At least Dance War wasn't a total wash, as Wilson -- Julianne Hough's ex-fiance -- has landed the role of Zac Efron's stand-in and dance coach for High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which is currently filming in Salt Lake City and is scheduled to hit theaters this fall.

"I'm so excited," Tonioli told The Post about Wilson's role. "He had to take it.  It's a wonderful opportunity."
