Temptation Island featured Evan Smith asking Morgan Lolar to be his girlfriend, Nicole Tutewohl appearing to hook up with Tyler Sabino, and John Thurmond making out with Katheryn Golden during Tuesday night's episode on USA Network.

Similar to the show's original seasons that aired on Fox between 2001 and 2003, USA Network's Temptation Island reboot follows four dating couples at a pivotal time in their relationships in which they must decide whether to stay committed to each other for the rest of their lives or go their separate ways.

The established couples are Evan, 28, and Kaci Campbell, 29, who currently reside in Los Angeles, CA; John, 35, and Kady Cannon Krambeer, 30, who currently reside in Fort Worth, TX; Javen Butler, 25, and Shari Ligons, 25, who currently reside in San Francisco, CA; and Nicole, 25, and Karl Collins, 31, who currently reside in Chicago, IL.

The significant others -- who were at a crossroads in their relationships -- traveled together to the tropical paradise of Maui, Hawaii, to live the "single life," and each of them would have an opportunity to date up to 12 singles awaiting them.

The stakes were high and hearts were on the line, but each exclusive couple seemed pretty confident at first their bonds would outlast and conquer any temptation. However, everyone was taking a great risk.

The latest Temptation Island broadcast began with Evan admitting he's had a problem with hurting people in his past. While he's lived a blessed life, he also said he's been cursed.

Morgan was scared to see how emotional Evan was about Kaci's video footage, and she wondered whether he was going to change his mind and be with Kaci last minute. Morgan didn't know what was in store for them.

Nicole and Shari were preparing for the worst with their significant others, but Kaci wasn't prepared to think that way. Kaci assumed Evan was in "panic mode" because he probably took things too far.

"If he did hook up with someone, are you done?" Shari asked Kaci.

"Yeah, it's unimaginable. I just really don't think he would have sex with someone," Kaci replied. "That would be crazy."

Meanwhile, Brittney Rose called John's girlfriend "a dick."

John said he entered the process way too confident because he trusted Kady and was planning on marrying her after the journey, but Kady was obviously enjoying her experience on Temptation Island a little too much.

However, he said he didn't regret going on the show because he found out what he needed to -- even though the information hurt. John also determined he needed to give Katheryn Golden a chance and get to know her better.

Kady was in a great romance with Johnny Alexander, but she was beginning to doubt leaving John and second guess the way she was treating him. Kady confessed she felt "guilty" and "really selfish."

Kady felt weak a man was able to tempt her because she never wanted to be a cheater in a relationship. Kady couldn't believe how vulnerable she was being, especially because she never expected the Temptation Island experience to be "so real."

Since the last couple of days had been heavy, the four men in committed relationships and the single women decided to participate in a light-hearted and fun scavenger hunt.

Some wild things happened -- including Javen putting a woman's bathing suit on, Morgan giving Evan a lap dance, and people jumping into the pool with their clothes on.

Mark L. Walberg then addressed the four men in committed relationships and revealed an elimination needed to take place. The guys had to choose four women to potentially send home, and they were Lindsay Jones, Allie Dimeco, Kayla Essex, and Jeffri Lauren.

The guys then decided to keep Kayla, sending the other three ladies home. Javen thought he could connect with Kayla more than most women left in the house, so that's why he wanted to keep her around.

The four ladies in serious relationships then had their own elimination. They selected the following four guys to be in jeopardy: Jack Allen, James L.A. Thompson, Wynn Sarden, and Carlos Tomas Chavez.

The girls opted to keep Jack, ultimately eliminating the rest of the pack.

Wynn said it sucked leaving but there had been tension between himself, Kady and Johnny. Wynn pointed out there was a "toxic energy" and Kady made the wrong decision.

Shari was then shown bonding more with Justin Sturm. She was really opening up to the process and said, "Whatever happens, happens."

Afterward, Evan opened up to Morgan like never before, and he talked to her in front of the whole group.

"Morgan and Kaci are completely different people. I've never felt anything like I have with Morgan. It's the unknown with Morgan, and I honestly just can't get enough," Evan told the cameras.

Evan told Morgan in front of the group his intentions for her were more than he ever thought possible.

"You know I asked you to be my girlfriend last night," Evan told her.

"Coming here, I thought I was going to solidify what I already kind of thought where my life was going, and with you, you have changed everything... I'm just gushing over you. I just cannot believe what's happening."

Morgan figured Kaci was in the other villa crying over Evan, expecting to leave with him, so she was worried about how things were going to unfold going forward.

Meanwhile, Nicole said she discovered a lot more about herself through her time away from her boyfriend Karl. Nicole admitted it didn't even feel right to call him her "boyfriend" at the moment.

That night, Nicole asked Tyler to join her in her bedroom, and she was ready to put their connection "into action." It appeared they hooked up with each other under the sheets.

And Brittney and Karl went skinny-dipping together -- an intimate moment that put a lot of pressure on Karl.

Brittney asked Karl if she could go to his bedroom, however, and he rejected her. Brittney was pulling out all the stops, including offering to take her clothes off in bed, but Karl was clearly still hung up on Nicole.

As for Kady, she felt guilty about disrespecting John and his family. She loved John but "really, really liked Johnny." Kady knew a very tough conversation awaited her with her boyfriend.

Katheryn was then shown upping her game in attempt to win John over, although he was still reeling from the pain of Kady's antics on the island.

John and Katheryn then went into the pool together and John planned to let his walls down. He ended up making out with her in the water.

Katheryn didn't intend to capitalize on John's pain, so she wanted to allow him time to heal and come around on his own. That night, however, they took their makeout session into a bedroom.

It then became time for the women's bonfire meeting, and Kaci was ready to get the full story. She didn't know what the future held for her.

Once at the fire, Kaci decided to watch her video alone because she anticipated it was going to be hard to watch.

Kaci saw Evan asking Morgan to be his girlfriend, and she revealed he was "back to being old Evan."

"He's impulsive, he gets caught up in the moment, and it looks like he's leaving me for another girl," Kaci told the group, adding the scene was "mind-blowing" and she felt "numb."

Kaci didn't know what was wrong with Evan, but she figured her previous video message probably served as a wakeup call for him.

"It looks like he just gave up on me and gave up on us for somebody he barely knows," Kaci cried. "He told me there was no way he would blindside me and he told me that we would get through this. I just don't even understand what's happening."

Nicole was up next and watched Karl skinny dip with Brittney. Nicole also watched Brittney lay on top of Karl.

Nicole acknowledged Karl wasn't ready to be deeply in love with her and he needed to work on himself. Nicole didn't think Karl had much growth in this process, and she was beginning to recognize what she deserves.

Shari then watched a single put eyelashes on Javen, and it made her crack up. She said that was the fun Javen she had grown to love and adore.

"I'm glad he's feeling comfortable in the house," Shari told the group.

Kady decided to watch her video with the group, just as Shari and Nicole did, and she witnessed John making out with Katheryn in the pool and then in bed.

Kady admitted it hurt to see that and she was "really surprised and shocked." Trust was never an issue for the couple, but that was clearly changing.

Kady realized she still loved John because watching him kiss another girl was extremely painful. She hoped she didn't mess up something so important in her life.

On their way out of the bonfire, Kaci called Evan "a liar" and said his new relationship was never going to work out in real life because Morgan had no idea what she had gotten herself into.

The men then arrived at the bonfire, and Karl watched Nicole being intimate with Tyler in bed. Karl said it was very hurtful because Nicole had promised him going into this journey they'd end up together and she wanted him to be the father of her child.

Karl hated watching the video, but at the same time, he knew he wasn't exactly innocent. Karl had been getting to know Brittney well, so he wasn't sure if they were going to be able to stay together.

John was up next and watched Kady making out with Johnny. John said the video didn't bother him as much as the one of the pair in bed together.

"It hurts seeing her kiss that guy, but it's ultimately going to come down to a conversation," John disclosed, explaining that he needed to ask Kady whether she had enough feelings for this new guy to leave their relationship in the past.

John was actually hoping to see Kady making out with a guy for confirmation it was okay for him to explore his connection with Katheryn. John planned to "roll with the punches."

Javen then took a look at Shari forming a connection with Justin. Javen saw Shari "developing" and "growing," so he thought the video was a positive thing.

And finally, Evan watched Kaci express fear over Evan's behavior, saying she'd break up with him if he had sex with another woman.

Evan explained a conversation with Kaci needed to be had because he didn't expect to meet someone as wonderful as Morgan.

"I've nurtured her heart and her soul for so long, and she's given me ultimatum after ultimatum. No one knows her life I know her, so I understand she's in pain. What I've developed with Morgan and what has happened is more surprising to me [than anything]," Evan shared.

Evan said Morgan had changed everything for him and he was "done" making excuses. Evan insisted he needed to talk to Kaci.

Evan regretted not sending Kaci a video because he wanted her to know he didn't fall back into his old ways. On the contrary, Evan said he just fell hard for Morgan and never anticipated such an outcome.
