A day after Teresa and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to fraud, the couple's lawyer has come forward to announce the reality TV stars will request to serve their sentences separately.

The idea behind the request is that one of them can stay at home with their four daughters while the other one serves the time.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars pleaded guilty to federal mortgage and bankruptcy fraud charges as part of a plea deal in which Teresa would face less than two years in prison, and Joe at least three.

While the Giudices will be sentenced at a later date, the verdict will most likely require that the two go jail.

Teresa and Joe were indicted on bankruptcy, mail and wire fraud conspiracy, and fraudulent mortgage application charges in July of 2013.
