The Amazing Race's twentieth season eliminated Elliot Weber and Andrew Weber during Sunday night's broadcast of the CBS reality competition.

The "Twin Brothers" team became the third team eliminated from the around-the-world competition after they arrived at the Race's third Pit Stop on the grounds of a renowned monument at Escalinata de Antequera in Paraguay in last place.

"It's been tough, but it's been amazing. I think I'm very proud of my brother. I think I'm proud of ourselves for just pushing through. We both like to have our way and that definitely showed. I'm going to take this whole experience and remember it. Not too many people get a chance to do this and it was ours," Andrew said following his team's ouster.

The third episode of The Amazing Race's twentieth season began where last week's broadcast left off, with the Race's nine teams meeting with The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan and leaving the course's second Pit Stop at the El Gomero, a 200-year-old tree that stands in the middle of a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Since they had been the team to finish in first place at the Race's second Pit Stop, "Married Couple" Dave Brown Jr. and Rachel Brown -- who had the Express Pass, which would allow the couple to skip one challenge at any point in the Race that they would not want to complete, in their pocket as a result of winning the competition's first leg -- were the first team to depart from the El Gomero at 12:22AM.

Upon opening their departure clues, the teams were instructed to fly to Asuncion, Paraguay, and once there, travel by taxi to Metalurgica Punta de Rieles -- which featured equipment supplies -- to find their next clue.

Dave and Rachel B. were then followed by "Border Patrol Agents and Friends" Art Velez and J.J. Carrell at 12:25AM. The remaining teams' departure times were not shown during last night's broadcast seemingly because all the pairs caught up to each other at the airport while they were all attempting to book tickets on the earliest available flight.

Rachel B. and Dave and Art and J.J. asked to be placed on a standby flight that would depart at 8:45AM, but they were unsure whether it would work out. However, the two teams weren't the only pairs to come up with the idea, as every other team ended up also putting their names on the list for a standby flight.

Rachel B. and Dave, along with Art and J.J. luckily got on the standby flight after a person sold them their tickets, claiming they only had four seats to give away. Afterwards, "Federal Agents and Friends" Nary Ebeid and Jamie Graetz and "Friends" William "Bopper" Minton and Mark Jackson were able to buy their tickets and snag four more spots on the standby flight as well.

The remaining five teams -- which consisted of "Engaged Couple" and former Big Brother houseguests Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly, "Dating Divorcees" Vanessa Macias and Ralph Kelley, "Twin Brothers" Elliot Weber and Andrew Weber, "Cousins" Kerri Paul and Stacy Bowers, and "Friends" Joey "Fitness" Lasalla and Danny Horal -- were stuck boarding a 10:40AM flight because they failed to get on the standby flight. Due to the fact they were on a later plane and would arrive about two hours behind the four teams on the first flight, everyone was frustrated and nervous about being eliminated.

Upon landing, hopping into cabs and rushing to their next destination, Art and J.J. were the first team to arrive at the Metalurgica Punta de Rieles. They were then followed by Bopper and Mark, Nary and Jamie, Rachel B. and Dave, Rachel R. and Brendon, Kerri and Stacy, Elliot and Andrew, Danny and Joey, and Vanessa and Ralph.

Once the teams received their next set of clues, it then became time for them to complete one of two Detour tasks: "Stacked Up" or "Strung Out."

"Stacked Up" required the teams to make their way to the largest fruit market in Paraguay and join the workforce in the busy watermelon season. They had to locate trucks carrying watermelons and then stack the watermelons in a perfectly formed 10 by 10 pyramid just as the local vendors did. When the vendor was satisfied with their mountain of melon, the teams would receive their next clue.

"Strung Out" required the teams to make their way to an auditorium, where they must choose a harp -- the national instrument of Paraguay. Following an ongoing demonstration, they had to attach 36 strings to their instrument. Once the harps were ready for tuning, they'd receive their next clue.

All of the teams originally opted to take on the "Stacked Up" watermelon Detour task except for Elliot and Andrew, who said they had experience stringing guitars to use to their benefit. However, the watermelon task proved to be just as difficult for most teams as the stringing task ended up being Elliot and Andrew much to their own surprise. 

Nary and Jamie, Bopper and Mark, Rachel B. and Dave, and Rachel R. and Brendon's watermelon pyramids repeatedly collapsed and the teams had trouble maintaining the triangular shape of their structures. As a result, they all switched to the "Strung Out" task in the hopes they'd have better luck completed that one.

Not only did Rachel R. and Brendon struggle to pile up their watermelons the correct way, they also left the task because they admitted Vanessa was driving them crazy and they couldn't work in such a close vicinity to her. Rachel R. and Brendon could hear Vanessa insulting Rachel during the task and the couple came to the conclusion they simply disliked the Racer. The feeling was apparently mutual for Vanessa as well.

Kerri and Stacy happened to arrive at the "Stacked Up" Detour task just as Bopper and Mark were leaving to head to the "Strung Out" task. Bopper and Mark warned the girls they had been working to stack the watermelons for about two hours and still couldn't finish the job, so Kerri and Stacy made a quick decision and switched tasks before even starting "Stacked Up."

Meanwhile, Elliot and Andrew considered switching tasks but ultimately decided not to, while Vanessa and Ralph -- who were taking an extremely long time to accomplish the "Stacked Up" task and didn't even know if they could ever finish it -- also chose not to change tasks because Vanessa insisted she wanted to set a good example for her children that you should never quit.  

Although Rachel B. and Dave thought changing tasks would make things easier for them, it didn't. The couple had just as many problems attempting to complete the "Strung Out" task as they did the watermelon one, and as a result, they used their Express Pass to simply skip the challenge and move forward in the leg.

Art and J.J. -- who seemed to be the only team to get through the watermelon-stacking task quickly and efficiently besides Joey and Danny -- finished the Detour task before any of the other teams. They were then followed by Rachel B. and Dave, Rachel R. and Brendon, Bopper and Mark, Joey and Danny, Kerri and Stacy, Nary and Jamie, Elliot and Andrew, and finally Vanessa and Ralph.

The teams were then instructed to make their way to the Plaza de la Democracia to find their next set of clues.

Art and J.J., still maintaining their commanding lead, were the first team to arrive at the plaza. They were then followed by Rachel B. and Dave, Brendon and Rachel R., Joey and Danny, Bopper and Mark, Nary and Jamie, Kerri and Stacy, Elliot and Andrew, and Vanessa and Ralph.

Once the teams received their next set of clues, they learned it was time to complete a Roadblock task. The Roadblock task required one member from each team to balance a bottle on the top of their heads and perform a choreographed routine without dropping the bottle. During the dance, if a team member happened to break all of his or her provided bottles, that Racer's team would move on from the task and receive a two-hour penalty.

Art opted to do the Roadblock task for his team, and he was later joined by Dave, Rachel R., Joey, Mark, Nary, Kerri, Elliot, and Ralph.

The men seemed to have an overall harder time balancing the bottle while coordinating their movements than the women did. Art and J.J. were the first team to finish the Roadblock task and they were soon followed by Rachel B. and Dave -- who incurred the two-hour penalty because Dave had accidentally smashed all his bottles during the task -- Brendon and Rachel R., Joey and Danny, Bopper and Mark, Nary and Jamie, Kerri and Stacy, Vanessa and Ralph, and Elliot and Andrew.

Although Vanessa and Ralph had been in last place leading up to the Roadblock task, Elliot took so long to complete it that they were able to surpass the twin brothers in the Race.

Once the teams completed the Roadblock task, they learned they must make their way on foot to Escalinata de Antequera, which would serve as the Race's third Pit Stop.

Art and J.J. arrived at the Pit Stop mat and met Phil in first place. For finishing the leg before any of the other teams, the pair won a trip for two to the Bahamas.

Rachel B. and Dave then arrived in second place but had to wait out their two-hour penalty before their official finishing place in the leg could be revealed.

Rachel R. and Brendon subsequently arrived in third place but secured second place, while Joey and Danny then became team number three. Bopper and Mark were declared the fourth place team and then Nary and Jamie made it to the Pit Stop mat and snagged fifth place.

Rachel B. and Dave's time penalty finally elapsed and they finished the leg, as a result, in sixth place. Phil told them they were the first team in The Amazing Race history to not complete a single task but remain in the Race.

Kerri and Stacy then arrived in seventh place, Vanessa and Ralph came in eighth and Elliot and Andrew stepped onto the mat in ninth -- and last -- place.
