The Amazing Race eliminated Kaylynn Williams and Haley Williams after the team's luck ran out and they finished the Race's eighth leg of Season 32 in last place during Wednesday night's two-hour episode on CBS.

The "Sisters" team raced the show's first-ever megaleg, arrived at the eighth Pit Stop in Hyderabad, India, and met The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan in sixth -- and last -- place, which resulted in their elimination.

Kaylynn and Haley thanked Phil for the wonderful experience and kept their heads held high.

"This has been the most incredible, humbling, eye-opening and magical experience," Kaylynn said following her team's ouster.

"The Amazing Race was the best experience of my life," Haley added.

The Amazing Race's megaleg featured double the Roadblocks, double the Detours, double the "Yields" and an exhausting lengthy route to run in India.

Kaylynn and Haley's time was finally up after the girls had survived two prior non-elimination legs.

Given the other five teams had created an alliance at the start of the season, Kaylynn and Haley were the obvious target for everyone in this megaleg.

Kaylynn and Haley were subjected to The Amazing Race's new "Yield" twist twice in the megaleg.

"Dating Couple" Will Jardell and James Wallington chose to "Yield" Kaylynn and Haley at a Roadblock during the first half of the megaleg.

And then the girls had to sit and wait another 20 minutes before proceeding thanks to "Pro Volleyball Players" Riley McKibbin and Maddison McKibbin using their "Yield" power at the destination prior to the Pit Stop.

Once Riley and Maddison yielded Kaylynn and Haley -- who also got lost at one point in the megaleg -- and traveled to the Pit Stop in a horse and carriage, Phil told the team they had finished the leg in first place.

For winning the leg, Riley and Maddison won a seven-day Caribbean cruise.

Will and James completed the leg in second place, and "Former NFL Stars" DeAngelo Williams and Gary Barnidge arrived at the Pit Stop and met Phil in third place.

The alliance of five crumbled in this megaleg because no one wanted to help DeAngelo or Gary since they had a habit of taking help from others without assisting the four other teams during their times of need.

"The Mine 5, as of today, is officially dead," James noted during the leg.

"Married Parents" Chee Lee and Hung Nguyen completed the leg in fourth place, and "Siblings" Eswar Dhinakaran and Aparna Dhinakaran were right on their heels in fifth place.

And finally, Kaylynn and Haley made it to the Pit Stop and stepped on the mat in sixth place.

"The sand had run through the hourglass for you guys, and I'm sorry to tell you that you have been eliminated from the Race," Phil told the girls on the Pit Stop mat.

"We had our nine lives and we just ran out," Kaylynn said following her team's ouster.

"But we still ran eight legs!" Haley interjected.

"And we had the best time ever, and we've met incredible people besides Mine 5," Kaylynn said with a laugh.
