CBS has formally announced the identities of the 11 teams who will be competing on The Amazing Race's 28th season next year.

The teams will embark on a trek around the world, and at every destination, take on mental or physical tasks. Once a challenge is completed, they'll receive a clue to their next destination. Last-place teams will be eliminated along the way until only one team remains. The winning couple to cross the finish line in first place will receive the $1 million grand prize.
Phil Keoghan will reprise his role as host.
For the first time in the show's history, fans will have the opportunity to check on their favorite teams and get a real-time, behind-the-scenes look at what's happening during the first leg. Keoghan will stream live video on his Facebook page on Sunday, November 15 at approximately 7:30PM ET/PT.
Additional details about The Race's new season and its teams will be released at a later date.
Below is a list of the 11 social-media teams who will be competing on The Amazing Race's upcoming 28th season:
- "Best Friends" Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl: Social Media Influencers
Tyler and Korey currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. Tyler has more than 7.7 million subscribers on YouTube and is one of the biggest social media influencers in the space. He is racing with his best friend and fellow YouTube star, Korey, who hosts the award-winning podcast "Psychobabble" with him.
- "Dating Couple" Burnie Burns and Ashley Jenkins: YouTube Stars
Burnie and Ashley currently reside in Austin, TX. Burnie runs Rooster Teeth, one of the largest gaming sites with more than 8.2 million subscribers on YouTube. He is racing with his girlfriend and Rooster Teeth co-host, Ashley.
- "Best Friends" Erin White Robinson and Joslyn Davis: YouTube Hosts
Erin and Joslyn currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. They are best friends and YouTube hosts for the popular news and entertainment channel Clevver, where they cover everything Hollywood.
- "Mother and Son" Sheri LaBrant and Cole LaBrant: Vine Star
Sheri and Cole currently reside in Enterprise, AL. Cole is a teen heartthrob Viner who has amassed more than 6.5 million followers.
- "Newlyweds" Zach King and Rachel King: Vine Star
Zach and Rachel currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. Zach is best known as the Magic Viner and has more than 3.7 million followers. He is racing with his wife, Rachel.
- "Dating Couple" Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina: YouTube Stars
Dana and Matt currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. They are best known for their dance videos and tutorials. They have danced all over the world and Matt has more than 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube.
- "Best Friends" Jessica Versteeg and Brittany Oldehoff: Instagram Models
Jessica and Brittany currently reside in San Francisco, CA, and Fort Lauderdale, FL. They are best friends and Instagram Models who together have more than 60,000 followers.
- "Mother and Daughter" Marty Cobb and Hagan Parkman: Viral Video Sensation
Marty and Hagan currently reside in McKinney, TX. Marty, the mother, is best known for her hilarious flight attendant safety demonstration that went viral and has more than 22 million views on YouTube. She is racing with her daughter, Hagan.
- "Father and Daughter" Scott Fowler and Blair Fowler: Beauty YouTuber
Scott and Blair currently reside in Kingsport, TN, and Los Angeles, CA. Blair started her YouTube channel when she was 14, posting beauty and fashion videos. She has expanded her channel to include all things lifestyle and has amassed more than 1.7 million subscribers. She is racing with her father.
- "Best Friends" Kurt Gibson and Brodie Smith: Pro Frisbee Players
Kurt and Brodie currently reside in Dallas, TX. Brodie turned his Frisbee skills into popular videos and has a YouTube channel with more than 1 million followers. He is racing with his best friend and former ultimate Frisbee teammate, Kurt. They won three National Championships at the University of Florida.
- "Brothers" Cameron Benson and Darius Benson: Vine Stars
